I leave on the 1st. Classes don't start until the 6th, but RIT is on a quarter calendar. No month off at Christmas for me!

I hate that radio stations speed up songs. They're always ever so slightly faster than the album versions.

Fall quarter ends right before Thanksgiving, so we get that whole week off. Winter quarter ends the last week of February, and then Spring quarter ends in May.

So that's not quarters so much as trimesters

Oh that's right! I'll probably have two years of that too, because I'm going for a five year program.

I didn't really care about that when I was looking at schools, RIT just has the best (one of the best?) programs for what I want to study.

I agree, however I haven't had a 4 month summer since first year as a freshman. Thank you Co-Op work terms & summer school!

I hate four-month summers. I want to go back to school as soon as I leave and have to deal with it for four months. lol

I love school compared to work, school's easy if you're reasonably smart and reasonably hard working. Work's crap as far as I'm concerned. You're always under pressure or someone higher than you in the ladder is looking down on you and assessing your performance.

(But of course, all work is like that).

Man, I hate how my sideburns aren't exactly the same length, then I feel I look stupid (even when I'm really the only person to notice).

Wall-E is downloading onto a PSP in this room as I type this.

Where I have been that this is an amazing feat of technology to me. I mean, sometimes the internet is amazing, still, but... I'm just like, "Wow, when I was a kid I could only imagine this." And I'm still a kid.

Remember:
-In grade school, the new big thing was having an msn/email
-In high school, the new big thing was having a myspace
-In university/college, the new big thing is having a facebook/youtube thing

You have to wonder what's next.
