Hockey Night in Buffalo

First night back on campus and I stay out until 4:00, and having an apartment instead of a dorm room is AMAZING. It's going to be a great year.

Fireworks are the best. The Fourth of July is pretty much my favorite holiday for the atmosphere and stuff, but the fireworks are the icing on the cake. Someday I will live somewhere that they are not illegal... well, either that or out in the country. Cops patrol my neighborhood like crazy the weeks before and after the fourth, but that doesn't stop people from setting them off at 2:00 in the morning.

I ate at a Tim Horton's and a White Castle this week, both for the first time. I don't recommend either. TH coffee is pretty good, donuts are the same everywhere you go only the place I went too had flies galore and newb cashiers that needed things explained over and over again. White Castle seemed like a good idea, I mean I like the Harold and Kumar movies. The chicken rings are okay, and the sliders are bad. It's just disgusting grease with the occasional interruption from a pickle or onion. Still, I ate like 12 of them because that's how it's done. I was overwhelmed by a feeling of unhealthiness.

I tried White Castle years ago in Long Island and it was a very underwhelming experience. The sliders sucked and were full of grease like you said.

Watched a girl walking down Elmwood with her dad for about 5 minutes today. Clearly a freshman at Buff State, and based on how she dressed and acted even with her dad right there, I think it's a safe bet that she'll blow a guy in a bar bathroom before the NHL All-Star break.
