Yeah, didn't know her, but I know who the guy is. He is still in critical condition, but he is probably going to be all right, at least as far as autonomic responses go (head injury). His parents drove here from Iowa to be with him.

A tree branch fell on them at the park around midnight. My friends and I moved to the park to hang out at 3:00 without any knowledge of that. Ha. I assumed a car accident because it was raining last night, but it was such a random thing, and it wasn't windy at all last night... I'm thankful that it was somebody I don't know at all. Selfish to think of, but there is genuine thankfulness there. There's one person in particular that if he died I would be done.

And now I should go back to bed because I slept four hours.

Sigh, I used to work there...I also really miss the veggie wet shoes, the home fries, the margie melt...I dont so much miss being bossed around by the militant lesbian Anne Gallagher (I dont know if she's still running things), but the place is still awesome.

The ride I got yesterday in a new APR-tuned Audi S4 driven by professional driver, Aaron Povoledo.

(Not me videotaping or riding in the car, but this is how he drove with me and two others in the car)

Airsoft is wonderful. I don't have nearly as many bruises as I did last time, though.

I went to Charlotte this weekend to see some amazing drag racing.

Since it was hot and sunny the entire weekend I now look like a mexican and it was hot.

He's going to be a quadriplegic on a ventilator. Three spinal cord surgeries have accomplished nothing.

Well I'm not in a great mood I guess.

The chick I dated has a new boyfriend now. I was talking to her today because I'm still crazy for her, but I need to move on, she is in high school and should date high school boys and let those relationships fall apart. Both are younger then 16, and both are in the band, neither have a class together anymore. It was also lame they starting dating like tonight at like midnight and didn't even ask her out in person and through texting, which is super lame in my books. I highly doubt it will last much longer then a few months at best, probably until band is over with this year. She's in guard and he is not, that's really tough to date someone in guard if you're in the hornline because you're still never near them at practice anyways.

She doesn't know what she wants, she had a guy who treated her like a queen and looked at her with the most sincere look on his face every time. Maybe she'll realize what she had and come back, but I'm not going to hold onto it for very long. It's whatever, she just somehow stopped liking me while we were dating, she knows exactly how I feel about her, and I wish she felt the same, but I need to move on.

She's young, in high school, doesn't know what she wants then, she had it all, and gave it away.

It's time to move on and stop sulking over her, helpful words of encouragement are always welcome, I would like them, even if it's just to tell me I'm stupid which I think I am stupid.

iowa had something cool, that ive never seen before. to the west of the iowa great lakes is nothing but corn fields. its flat, so you see nothing. except a brand new wind farm. these turbines are enormous.

Image

now, besides the sheer size of these things, is how many there are. hundreds. if not over a 1000. so you see these huge turbines 10-15 miles outside the city in the distance. but at night, all you can see is the red light atop of them like towers. they blink for a second, then turn off for a second.

heres why its cool. there are hundreds, like i said, if not thousands of blinking red lights in the distance, but they all blink in unison, at the exact same time. its actually very very cool to witness this.

if you remember the duracell commercial last year about testing the wind turbines at iowa lakes community college, this is where that was shot.

Haha yea, if she gets treated badly, I hope she doesn't come crying to me, because all I'll say is you had someone already who treated you like a queen and you gave it up.

I got to eat lunch today and will on Wednesday as well (usually don't have lunch MWF) because one of my classes was/will be canceled. Prof is the dean of students and had to do damage control with the media/news today (they were all over campus lollll waste of time, students have been instructed not to say a word) and stuff is going on Wednesday. I already don't have my Tuesday-Thursday class this week.

Now I get to take a nap! YAY!

I should be an epic douche to that guy and get him thinking so badly.

I could tell him everything bad about her and how she shouldn't be trusted at all because of what she did to me.

But I'm not that kind of person, I'll just let this high school relationship fail on its own terms and find myself a girl who deserves to be treated like a queen and how she should be treated.

I think I understand altruistic love.

How curious.
