Absolutely sick. Of course, all of the Canadians are supporting him.

I love that one. Not only does Razor crush the dudes head, another player right by him throws a few elbows. Nice.

No, that just means he's suspended until further notice.

That's bullshit. These leagues are so 'ban happy'(like a bad message board) that they just banned someone for "shaking the shit out of someone who probably desperately deserved it". He was pissed off and shook some guy who pissed him off. Scared him silly, but at the end of the day, he shook him. I'm not looking at this from a legal perspective, btw.

On a personal note, when I was younger(and filled with teen angst), I felt an ass kiking or something of that ilk was good for me once in a while to keep me grounded. I think that notion has been lost by the hand-sanitizing generation. Being a dick seems to almost be a constitutional right, yet bullying is frowned upon. Maybe the NHL should suspend fighting and body-checking(and emotion)? Then everyone can be Avery, yet no one can do anything about it.

So are you. Taking away this guys life goal for shaking someone is dumb. To protect the "integrity of the game" they might. If he fell over the glass 20 or so punches are in order though, right???

You're falling into the 'talking point' zone.

He's only suspended indefinitely because they haven't scheduled the suspension hearing yet. It's the ONLY reason the word "indefinitely" is being used. Jesus.

What I heard was it meant at least 5, because that had to be in person. I've been hearing they may throw the book at him.

...and don't call me Jesus.

Well you're right about the whole phone call = <5gms, in person = >5gms thing. I think 6 games should suffice.

Yea. It's an unwritten rule that a phone meeting with Colin Campell means under 5 gms while an in-person hearing means more than 5 gms.

Indefinitely is just a term used when a suspension hasn't been handed out yet. It's just until further notice.

Reason a lot of injuries always say player is out indefinitely.
