well the real question is how much sleep he got last night...showing up is good, but not if he's mentally and physically out of it.

yeah...just read the kids were born at noon....he was up all night for sure.
We'll see I suppose. Adrenaline only lasts so long.

Eh, depends on how long she was in labor. My first kid too 4 hours from the time my ex's water broke til delivery.

Well once it starts, it goes quick but most people I'm assuming are sitting there in labor well before the water breaks.

The opposite happened to me.
Wife goes to the OB with labor pains...they sent her straight to the hospital where we sat around for 8 hours.
Although I watched TV and ate Carl's Jr. most of the time ;)

it was a scheduled ceasarean at around noon. so I guess "mother and father" had enough sleep before.
