Soooooo would it be acceptable to go to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn, which is the last in the Twilight series, for the following reasons/under the assumption that the following actions will be carried out:
1. It is absolutely ridiculous. Look at a synopsis, seriously.
2. I will dress up as a Star Wars character. Probably Princess Leia.
3. I will mock the movie the entire time and crack up at entirely inappropriate moments (such as when Bella's progeny breaks her bones as it leaves her uterus).
4. I will give all 12-year-old and soccer mom fangirls side eye the whole evening.
5. There will be multiple people going, each dressed up as a character from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.
2, 4, 5 are hilarious. 3 is a bit douchey.
All the mocking and comments would be mostly, if not all, internal lol. Maybe a couple comments whispered to a friend, but that's standard from most people for most movies. I'm not actually extroverted (or rude) enough to carry that one out in a very public way haha. My friends certainly aren't rude enough to do that, either. Should have clarified that. The rest don't seem bad to me, though. They wouldn't ruin it for anyone, anyway, just amuse them.
Basically I just think it would be hilarious to go see Twilight dressed up as a character from a different series. It would be the movie equivalent of someone in a Canadiens or Red Wings jersey at a Panthers game. Just need the OK that it's not a horrible thing to pay to watch Twilight.
