Save your time and go do something else. I honestly can't understand why people do things like that. I find it incredibly childish and 100% inappropriate. If someone did this to me, I honestly would probably snap on them.

It's like "We get it, you don't like it, but seriously, is your life that miserable that you need to ruin someone elses entertainment value?" (not to mention the fact they spent money, which they had to work for)

It's an honest question...what do you gain from doing this?

I had it out pretty good one night with a person I know who was making fun of Catholics for believing in Jesus, because he personally did not, and was stating that Christmas and Easter are stupid holidays, and was telling me how he mocks Christmas Shoppers, and wants to dress up like a Zombie on Easter.

A. You shouldn't ever go after someone for religious beliefs, unless you're ready to get a verbal beat down (which this kid got, 2 board members were present for this)

B. What does it matter? Does it honestly effect someone's life that much that someone likes, or believes something different than them? And if so, why does it matter?

/rant off

I'm going to see Lisa Lampanelli tonight. She's performing with Whitney Cummings and Jeffrey Ross. It's going to be so funny.

Really, thanks for your help while I was on the bagel station - but next time, don't finish my order. Start another one. God damn.

Soooooo would it be acceptable to go to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn, which is the last in the Twilight series, for the following reasons/under the assumption that the following actions will be carried out:
1. It is absolutely ridiculous. Look at a synopsis, seriously.
2. I will dress up as a Star Wars character. Probably Princess Leia.
3. I will mock the movie the entire time and crack up at entirely inappropriate moments (such as when Bella's progeny breaks her bones as it leaves her uterus).
4. I will give all 12-year-old and soccer mom fangirls side eye the whole evening.
5. There will be multiple people going, each dressed up as a character from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.

2, 4, 5 are hilarious. 3 is a bit douchey.

All the mocking and comments would be mostly, if not all, internal lol. Maybe a couple comments whispered to a friend, but that's standard from most people for most movies. I'm not actually extroverted (or rude) enough to carry that one out in a very public way haha. My friends certainly aren't rude enough to do that, either. Should have clarified that. The rest don't seem bad to me, though. They wouldn't ruin it for anyone, anyway, just amuse them.

Basically I just think it would be hilarious to go see Twilight dressed up as a character from a different series. It would be the movie equivalent of someone in a Canadiens or Red Wings jersey at a Panthers game. Just need the OK that it's not a horrible thing to pay to watch Twilight. :P

think of it this way. did you know that for showings of the awesome movie "the room" (seriously, watch this movie. its awesome.) people show up dressed as characters and they throw spoons and shit at the screen and yell out comments? thats awesome!

i think being verbally obnoxious is acceptable at times. others, eh.. if you go, and the movie is so bad others start mocking, then you have something. if you are the only one doing it, then.. you better be damn witty. or have an air horn.

I need to write a research proposal for class on something communications related but I have no idea what to do it on. I mean, I have ideas, but I'm not sure how I'd do an actual experiment relating to those things. Hmm. :\

in efforts to keep my sanity in this store that all but void of human life (i'm the only one here and its been slow) i tend to let my mind wander.

todays wandering led to a question that i found rather interesting/odd...

is there anyone who posts here that is gay/lesbian/bi/etc?

i have no political/social agenda with this question and am not trying to single people out. i'm just curious

I've been mistaken for being gay before also, but that was in high school and with my one really good friend.

We were always like no, not even close.

My best friend and I are mistaken for a couple. Even our parents have their doubts that we're straight, even though both of us have boyfriends. It's probably because we cuddle all the time, kiss each other on the cheek, and hold hands any chance we get. We also go on hot dates to Olive Garden and stuff. BUT I'M STRAIGHT, I SWEAR.
