I bought the soundtrack ahead of time, and I was pretty meh about it. After hearing it in the movie, totally changed my view. The music fits so well with the film, it's very impressive.

Where are the rest of my fucking grades? Jesus Christ.

One class I had a test in last Wednesday, no grade or anything posted yet. She doesn't even use a scantron so it's not like the office is backed up. Another test I had last Friday and those still aren't posted. I really want to know how I did because those are the two classes where my grade is up in the air and I just want to feel better about knowing. So far, I have all A's and one A-, so I'm hoping for another A and an A-. PLEEEEASE!

Stuck at work... as usual. Off in about 3 hours to spend xmas eve doing pretty much the norm. Nap, treadmill/weights. The Mrs. is working a 14 hr tonight on the ambulance so I won't see her until tomorrow morning when she wakes me up at 6 am to open gifts.

On a plus side, most of the agents here today are ordering in food for team potlucks and they feel compelled to feed me too. Even though I'm known as the hard ass boss. I'm starting to enjoy the whole spirit of giving!

I do wonder how many of them spat in the food though…

My last exam was a week ago today. My first one was 11 days ago, not counting one that was in class 15 days ago.

So far I have one grade in.

And I'd imagine tomorrow is a holiday as well, so any grades entered Thursday won't be available until Sunday.

This shouldn't take so long.

Tomorrow I'll be celebrating Christmas with Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus. Love my crazy, diverse family.

Hockey Night in Buffalo

Now that I am the only one up (have to get up to open presents in five hours) I want to see which presents are mine lol. I'm not usually like this at all. The only time I've ever peeked in my life was when I was eight, when I went into my parents' closet purely to make sure that we were getting an N64. I didn't even look at any of the other gifts. I just wanted to be sure. I don't want to peek, though, just know which are mine.

Also I can't wait for the 26th. There were about forty people crammed into two rooms for hours at my aunt's house today, and I kept going upstairs to my cousin's old room to get away from everyone. Tomorrow night I have to go to dessert at another cousin's house because his wife just had a baby and they're starting a new tradition for their family to have as a result. Too many human beings. I'm going to try to lounge around and just not even get dressed Sunday lol.

And that's IF those professors entered your grades Thursday. If not, you'll have to wait even longer to get them lol. It's honestly a really stupid system.



In other news, I wish my family took Christmas more seriously. They don't even seem to care about the holiday at all anymore. Our "Christmas tree" is a 4 foot tall artificial tree that sits on a table. No one even seemed to try at all with gift shopping. None of them really care at all. I like my boyfriends family, cause they do all sorts of Christmas-y things. Their Christmas tree is HUGE and easily puts ours to shame. I dunno, it's nice being all family-y and Christmas-y during Christmastime... I just wish that I could experience that lol.

Now that Christmas is over, I can go back to feeling like shit until New Years, when I will put on a fake smile again...how exciting it is to be me.

Only about eight people were there.



She's one of very few less-than-a-month-old babies I would classify as cute, too (rather than wise-looking or something). Head of dark brown hair, what looks like will end up being blue eyes (amusing because neither parent and only grandparent has them) shaped like almonds, the wide bulbous nose that runs on that side of the family, and a tiny little mouth. I dunno. She's just cute.

Yep. Still no more grades. This is starting to piss me off. I work my butt off at the end of the semester, put in two or three weeks of absolute hell, didn't have any free time in the last two weeks and didn't get as much sleep as I'd like either.

One could think the professors, TA's, or graders could get some motivation to put the grades. I've never had a semester where I've had only one grade after 10 days. Seriously, why the hell does it take so long?
