So does caffeine.

How are people so ignorant? I don't understand why it's so hard for people to grasp the fact that Cannabis doesn't turn people into criminals. It's ridiculous.

However, it does turn SOME people into criminals.

Well the fact that it's illegal kind of makes it a no brainer. How much of the blame should be levied on the substance, and how much on the people that have no self control? The key is abuse, if you use something to a perverse extent it's going to be bad for you regardless of what it is.

I got perks. fresh flowers. cheese doodles. spiced tea. friends. music. and movies.

I also just beat the game Dragon's Lair in my iPhone...so happy I could cry...28 years...

So far I've watched I Love You , Man (loved it!) the Last Exorcism (retarded). Devil (I picked the killer like 10 minutes in, kind of ruined it for myself),

NO pain...groggy.....kind of lonely....strange how I love being alone until I don't have the ability to leave and go be with people.

Who are "they"? Where are you getting this information?

I meant the health teachers. They say that alcohol and marijuana are bad for you. And it's true. Yet members of this forum argued that it's not true, that marijuana doesn't kill brain cells or damage your lungs, even though it's proven to.

The only study done that showed marijuana kills brain cells was conducted by pumping FIVE joints worth of smoke directly into monkeys via a gas mask in a single session. These sessions were conducted over the course of several months. Their findings demonstrated damage to brain cells. You know what one of the first side effects to suffocation is? Death of brain cells.

No other studies that have used more realistic circumstances have replicated these results.

I'm sure that more than one study has been done about the effects of marijuana and brain cells.

What's the primary delivery mechanism of marijuana? Inhaled smoke.

Inhaled smoke has been proven to have long term negative health effects. Period. End of story.

Not saying it's wrong, not saying marijuana is going to kill you, but it definitely causes some damage. Same with alcohol.

I have no problem against pot. Wouldn't do it myself, but I couldn't really give a damn if others do. However, saying it doesn't turn people into criminals isn't entirely true, I don't think. Marijuana effects different people in different ways. My brother, for instance, turned into a horrible person when he used the stuff, which he was unfortunately quite hooked on for years. It caused him to be angry all the time, he was mean, and he certainly did commit many stupid crimes. Maybe you can't necessarily make a direct causation between marijuana and crime, but the stuff DOES change people. Since my brother has been clean (due to getting in huge ass trouble over the stuff) he's a completely different person. He's actually a genuinely good, nice person now. He's the main reason why I'll never go near the stuff; I don't want to risk having myself act like that.

And maybe that's just my brother, and it's just some weird fluke that it changes him like that. However, I kind of doubt that my brother is the only one.

My friend (should say ex friend) took it and just turned into a complete scum bag. He is just an awful person now, and barely seems like he has a brain. No longer hang with him anymore.

I'll never use it.

People can make their own choices. That's their call.

Only because we live so goddamn long. Moral of my favorite college course, "human exposure analysis" aka everything you touch is killing you slowly.

Black Swan was very good. Not complicated, but intense. I love that Darren Aronofsky has used Matty Libatique as his D.P. and Clint Mansell as his composer for every film he's ever made.

There's a good chance before this month is out, I'm going to lose my god damn mind on someone, and it's not going to be pretty...so god damn sick of people sticking their nose in my business...especially when it doesn't belong there.

Went to see my cousin's band tonight; they opened for Bayside. They were actually quite good, and the venue was unexpectedly great. It was a nightclub in a strip mall... lulz.
