I've been there a few times before. Some parts are very nice, some parts are kind of trashy. Where are you in LI?

I'm in the Farmingville/Medford area.

I don't know that area at all. Last time I was there I was in Hicksville which was okay, then Glen Cove for the Gold Coast Concours event. Glen Cove was beautiful.

Wow, so there really is a place called Hicksville? Too easy.

Yup and it's on Long Island, closer to the city than where I'm stuck.

It would be more poetic if it was located south of the Mason-Dixon line, although I'm sure there is a town with that name somewhere down south.

How far away are you from the city?

WOOT, the team I played hockey with tonight won their first ever game.

This is the third season the are in so they went like 0-70 or something, ok maybe not that bad, but at least 0-30 if it was 15 games a season.

It was awesome to be a part of. I also have a game at 3:45 with my first team for the playoffs, we win this game were in the championship game against our biggest rivals.

I'm about 45 minutes away with no traffic. The last day of training ends at 4, I have to drive toward/through the city at rush hour because the company is too cheap to spring for another night at the hotel. I have to drive back to Buffalo after going into training at 7:30am.

I feel for you. I had to drive back to Rochester from Glen Cove after a long day and had to deal with a ton of bumper to bumper traffic going into the city and really terrible weather. I was exhausted after finally getting home that night at midnight.

Luckily I can stop in Syracuse if I need to. My parents live there.

We won our first playoff game tonight 4-0, so we get the play in the championship game tomorrow.

It's going to be fun, I hope we win it of course but it was an amazing season by our team indeed.

Gave my friend some of my super hot salsa. He lasted about twenty seconds with that ridiculous kind of breathing before trotting off to his apartment to get a drink. This kid can handle the most heat of anyone I know. As soon as he rounded the corner into the hall I started giggling like a little girl. I think I know a good, relatively harmless prank to pull on one of my roommates who HATES anything spicy.

I forgot how hot that stuff was because I got used to it over break. lulz.

So the school art gallery has a student show coming up next Friday and they haven't done a lick of advertisement. The students are pissed because what the fuck right? They work hard and are required to show in the gallery once a semester but the gallery can't be bothered to even update their own website. Pretty disrespctful and I just wrote a shitty letter to the gallery director. I love being at the end of the degree....I can finally say everything I have wanted to to these idiots.

I really don't want to study. I'm tempted to just wing the rest of my quizzes and tests so I don't make it past this stage of training. It would be better than the embarrassing email telling them I need to go back to my old position because I can't afford the move for the new one.

Awesome, we won the championship tonight against our biggest rivals.

It was great. It's funny how in the summer they beat us 17-2 or something, we beat them tonight 5-3 to win it. It was fun.

From last to first in one season.
