Having a political debate is okay.

Turning EVERY thread into a political debate, in which people who oppose one's point of view, or present threatening arguments, are called "pole-smokers", "knob-gobblers" and "cum-guzzlers" will last all of about 45 seconds, on these boards.

It gets very old, very fast and breeds much bad blood.
