I think I've slid down every available banister at my college.

Also, hopefully frozen mixed vegetables, cut-up hot dogs, and pasta sauce (and rice duh) that I made forever ago will make a decent poor man's jambalaya.

Honestly, I need to get out of this place for a weekend...things that wouldn't normally bother me are completely annoying the piss out of me...never thought I'd say this, but I kinda miss being in Jamestown

See, I feel that way often about home. Then I get home and realize why I wanted to leave home in the first place. Though, things have certainly improved since first leaving for college. My sister being gone is one main part of that.

I found a job off campus, and it is at Steak and Shake which is my house!

Hopefully they are interested, and hopefully if they are I can work nights because I already know most of the night crew by name due to being there from like 1:00-7:00 in the morning so many nights.

For the first time in many years, I got a hotel room close to where I'll be drinking. (Stag party at the casino.)

I feel 22 again.

Next year my school is switching to quarters rather than semesters, and as a result half the classes are at 8:00 in the morning, including senior sem which is the only class I have to take next year (the rest, I can take whatever I want to get to 124 credits).

I am not pleased. I guess it will be like high school again, except then I somehow not only got out of bed at 6:00 every morning but did so all on my own, without any prompting, and was always the first of my siblings downstairs and ready for school.

8:00 a.m. classes are from the devil... I had an 8:00 a.m. class this semester and I dropped it. I couldn't do it. It's the fact that I had to wake up so early not only for the commute, but mostly because finding a parking spot on campus is next to impossible, and when you finally do find a spot, it's at least a 15 minute walk to your class. The things I do for an education...

I thought I was smart one semester and jammed all my classes into Tues/Thurs with the 3 hour night class to cap it off... sure I had M/W/F off, but that was just a bad idea...lol

I'm doing that this semester. Tuesdays and Thursdays only, but I have no break between any of my classes...it kind of sucks haha.

In 2013 we're switching from quarters to semesters. Hopefully I will only have to go through one year of it.

My ex-girlfriend dumped me a couple months ago.
So last month i got drunk, went to a party, met this wonderful girl.
Me and said girl have been dating for two weeks now. So far so good. I hate to be all happy cheery for anyone going through relationship issues right now but holy damn life is good. She is so much more affectionate and selfless. Plus my ex was a bruins fan (yuck!). Now I can openly hate the bruins. And my current girlfriend works at the Sabres store. Bonus.
I know nobody cares but things are fantastic right now.

Starting tomorrow I'm gonna try going back to my "meathead" lifestyle. Lifting 4 days a week, running 3-5 miles every day, and all that good stuff. I'm kinda bored with just being "average", especially after talking to my buddy the other night, and remembering all the fun shit we did back in the day. Plus I dunno, I need something to occupy my time besides partying.

Also, I think I'm hitting it off with this new girl I met recently. We're both insane Sabres fans, conservatives, and enjoy country music. She gets my sense of humor, and she's a cute red head, 5'5 120ish pounds, pretty much perfect for me. Her only draw back is that she is very shy. I invite her to do stuff after class work all the time, and she's always like "Nah, I'm just gonna go home and go to bed, but we should definitely hang out some time"...so I dunno what the fuck that means, but I'm gonna pursue it a few more times, then move on. I don't like getting hung up on girls, it ends badly.

Thought about doing this, except it'd be biking 10-20 miles instead.
