What the hell kind of rule is that? Sounds like they think you're high schoolers on a field trip or something.

Does the rule apply to being in another's dorm room as well?

They should come to UB and see the amount of people passed out on lounge couches at night.

It stems from wanting to have a general idea as to where all students are in the event that something horrible happens. It's silly, but I went to a private high school so if this is the worst I have to deal with, I'll definitely take it. :P

Good thing your life is back on track. Wish you luck.

was walking and texting yesterday at the st patrick's day parade.. i ended up walking knee first straight into a sign pole. my knee is in so much pain, feels real tight, and keeps locking up. i was ready to cry today at work every time i had to move at all. i've gotta work pretty much 8-6 every day this week so i can't even go to my doctor.

its also my bad knee from a car accident a few years ago.

oh! and the best part, a group of 4-7 cops stood there and laughed at me instead of asking if i was ok. what jackasses.

Rice cooked with milk and honey is really delicious. I almost always like how my ~experiments~ turn out. Dunno if I prefer that or honey pancakes.

Imma hook yall peeples up with my sweeter than shit pot roast recipe:

get about a dozen of those little baby oinions, all different kinds: red, yellow whateva
half a bag of the really thin baby carrots
chop up a stalk of celery
peel and chop up 3 fat taters (what's taters precious, what's TATERS!)

skin, wash it, throw it in a crock pot.

get a fat arsed 4-5lb pot roast tip loin hunk beef and cut the fat off

cover it all in a jar of horseradish sauce and a handful of flower

throw it in the crock pot on top of the veggies, bonus points if you air it out from 10 feet or more

now you get about 6-8 fat portibella schrooms and place them on top of the beast

put the lid on and cook it on low for 10 hours

at hour 5 pour half a glass of Mirassou Pinot Noir Red on it.

enjoy with a Penn Pilsner or water.

You seriously cut the fat off a pot roast? You are removing all the flavor, sir!

Finally not sore anymore. No frost bite thankfully and my husky faired just fine. For all of you who didn't catch it, I got stuck in snow way the fuck up in the Rockies and had to hike out 23 miles. Took two tow trucks to get my Jeep out and I got out just before a big storm hit the area. I made the dumbest mistake of my life and didn't leave a map to where I was going with my wife. Search and Rescue was looking in the wrong county even. Got one text out before my phone died saying that I was stuck and 30 hours later I came upon a cabin and a great family who took me in, gave me coffee, let me call my wife and then even drove me back home an hour away.

I had good gear and enough water and food to keep me going. I've run two marathons but covering all that ground was tough. My dog was the one who kept me going so she's the real champ.

I'm demented.

Every time I get a junk call, I just screw with the guy.

There was an Indian guy telling me there's something wrong with my computer, and something about the hard drive. Before that, he asked me how I was doing, and I said "I'M DOING GOOOOOOOD DAWG" and let him ramble on. I had my buddy yell "PUT THE FUCKING DUCK IN THE OVEN" repeatedly in the background, then after maybe 5 minutes of egging him on I grunted loudly and hung up.

Whenever something bad happens to someone, they're all "Oh man, you never even think about ______ until it happens to YOU!"

Well, no shit, who has time to think about ALL the possible things that could possibly happen to you at any moment? Why would I think about:

A sinkhole swallowing me up
cancer
spontaneous combustion
syphillis
a tree falling on me
losing my hair
a bad haircut
a car accident
a kite accident
pterodactyls swooping down and plucking me off the earth for dinner
Killer butterflies
nuclear attack/fallout/rads yo!
this all being a dream
black holes
a concussion
being raped
being put in prison
being raped while in prison
the ceiling falling on my head
gravity reversing
my liver sneaking out through my belly button

I don't typically like beer, but butterbeer is delicious. It's currently a special at my favorite coffeehouse/tea house/cafe/bakery in the world. Yum yum yum.

That's because butterbeer isn't beer whatsoever at all.

My parents taught me to be giving, as I'll be given back in return. My parents taught me to be sharing, and I'll get shared with in return. My parents taught me to be nice, and people will be nice in return. Why, when life is about choices, and I'm making the right ones, do I feel it's all coming and biting me in the ass in return?

Well, it's the main ingredient, depending on how it's made. :P There's a really good recipe I've found with milk that I want to make eventually. Mine was with beer, but non-alcoholic because I'm still underage. (I don't know the point of drinking non-alcoholic things that naturally have alcohol in them, but that was quite good, so I'm all right with one. Have to go back next month when I'm of age and get another with real beer.) Also, this butterbeer was served cold, not hot. I thiiiink usually only those recipes made with dairy are served hot, but I really have no idea; it just seems right.
