hes been telling jokes like that all day. hes hilarious, but that one is pretty rancid. (no pun) but thats sorta his shtick.

ever hear his version of the aristocats joke?

Listen man. Aristocrats jokes SUCK. You'd think that verbal words strung up into a long family cluster fuck can't make people gag, but me, usually immune to disgusting stuff like that, GAGGED. I guess I just find incest INCREDIBLY disgusting.

i love the aristocrats joke. it works on so many levels.

Well it's funny in the way where I scream "LOL WTF IS WRONG WITH HIM", but I hate listening to them.

you are missing the whole point. after stringing together 4 minutes of the raunchiest, disgusting shit you could imagine, the talent agent merely replies "interesting, what do you call it?" to which the father replies "THE ARISTOCRATS!"

Well, I finished the "Cup" part of the Calder cup today and started making the base for it. Without the proper gear, I don't think I can make it with the slanted panels as on the real deal so it may have to be straight sides.

Pics to follow soon.

My girlfriend went to Canada with some her of her friends. I've been a worried wreck all night because I couldn't go due to a lack of Enhanced License. I know I can trust her but there's a lot of fucking creepers out there. All of whom I don't trust. I know I haven't been around a lot lately, but can someone help put me at ease? lol.

It's normal to feel the way you do, because you can't be there to actually see what goes on. I'm sure, though, your girlfriend can tell a creeper no, and that she's safe in a group of friends. Also, there are a lot of police patrols and security officers around there to protect people, so that definitely helps as well.

I kinda went through the same thing when I was younger because my boyfriend at the time was two years older than me, so I couldn't go drink even if I wanted to. I would sit home and kinda worry about what was going on without me there and it just kinda slowly ate at me. I realized it was dumb, though, and decided that if I trust him like I say I do, then it's fine. It was fine to worry about his safety, but I wasn't going to worry about another girl. If she comes home and tells you a guy was hitting on her, take it as a compliment that some guy was into her, and then you can brag to yourself that she's all yours and that guy didn't get anywhere with her. :)

It's obviously different if you don't trust her, because then you'll never really feel comfortable; but since you said you trust her, tell her to text you when she makes it home safe and do some stuff to take your mind off it. Also, just go get your enhanced license or your passport. You get a piece of paper when you walk out of the DMV that you can use temporarily before it comes in the mail for some instant gratification, you just show it along with your current ID. The bars in Canada are really fun (and expensive!) and it's like a rite of passage for kids who live near the border. :D

I know you wanted this assurance last night, but I thought it couldn't hurt to post it anyway for future reference.

It feels pretty good to be studying for the CPA exam right now as it's giving me purpose this summer. I feel that if I prepare well enough I can pass all four parts on the first try. Fewer than 10% of people pass all four parts on their first try; however, I've always considered myself a pretty good standardized test taker (ACT, SATs, GMAT) when I didn't put in a lot of effort for studying. I got really lucky and won a case competition that gave 50% off a Becker CPA review course, which generally run over $3000. There's also a 25% discount for registering for all four parts of the review course at once, so the class in total cost me $1085 and the exam registration was another $910. I'm really glad my mom is supportive and paid for $1500 of my costs. I couldn't have done it without her. She's awesome. :)

My dad, on the other hand, can go fuck himself.

Thank you. I really do appreciate it. I realized a lot of it was just because I missed her. I texted her and apologized for kind of bugging out and told her to have fun and that I trust her 100%. She let me know when she got back to the hotel safely and everyone was happy. I already can't wait to see her today. And I filled out all my enhanced license stuff last night. Me and her want to take a couple trip up there later in the summer for some fun and alone time. I was even thinking Toronto (she just went to Clifton Heights or whatever that tourist trap right on the border is called) even though that might be mad expensive. Thank you very much for posting that. :)

And sorry to all that I haven't been around much, I've been working all damn summer.

The job that I work days at M-F fulltime, all my coworkers are male, and I'm the first female that's ever been hired on floor crew. The job that I work 5:00-8:00 in the evenings five nights of the week all my coworkers but two are female, and all but one that I actually work closely with are. My last two jobs, one was predominantly female as well while one was uhhh eleven guys and two girls, and I preferred the latter.

definitely prefer the atmosphere of working with guys. They get work done faster and develop camaraderie simply by working alongside each other. I've always preferred the second part of that in males to the way that females create relationships. In some ways I'm much more male-brained than female, androgynous overall. Inborn personality + growing up with four brothers (really with two, as the other two are not even a part of my generation, and according to official birth order they compose an entirely different set of siblings; my youngest brother is only nine), no sisters, almost exclusively male cousins (all but one in my generation), and only one female playmate who grew up similarly shaped that, I think.

My supervisor keeps referring to us all as "the guys" and then sometimes corrects himself and adds "and girl." I always tell him I don't care because growing up my parents would always yell "BOYS!" to get us all to come to the kitchen or whatever when really they wanted me as well lol.
