490 mbps is still pretty damn insane.

Speeds fluctuate with network traffic, so at 11:30 pm there was probably less traffic than 10:30 am. Also has a bit to do with where you are, how many others are connected to your switch, etc.

St. Catharines is just the closest server, you can choose any of them. Some of the servers don't have the speeds to accurately reflect what we're getting though. Washington DC seems to be pretty reliable too, although obviously has a longer ping.

YES! I love it when my obscure references get noted. And you're usually the one to do it, my man.

When I was little I looked pretty much exactly like my dad. One of my brothers looked nothing like him at all; actually he strongly resembled my by-marriage-uncle on my mother's side, who is definitely not his father lol. Now that brother, who is 17, looks exactly like my dad but with blue eyes and blonde hair, and I look basically only marginally like either of my parents but extremely similar to my paternal grandmother; even my build is the same, looking at old pictures my uncle posted on Facebook. Never saw the resemblance before, but I've only rarely seen pictures from my father's childhood. (still look nothing like 75% of my brothers lol; when two of us first started going to school none of the kids believed that we were related for like three weeks even though our last name is extremely rare)

I love family traits or whatever.

Since I've had two kids and a handful of nieces and nephews, I've noticed similarities that aren't always evident in pictures. Things like expressions that come and go in a flash can really hit home and be nearly identical between relatives. My second daugther, Molly, gets this mischievous grin that reminds me of my sister's second son, Aaron. I call it the "stinker face".

So, I fucking bought Eggo cereal off of Amazon, cause it was the only place I could find it and that stuff is amazing... and when I get it, it has some weird ass brown fuzzy pieces of something I can't identify in it, so i don't really feel safe eating it. Blaaaaaaaah.

so i have a part time job. i work weekends, but i asked for this weekend off to go out to western to see my friend. i havnt seen him since his moms funeral in august. i asked for it off, was told it wasnt a problem, have fun. so i have this whole week off, right? no, they call me in yesterday and today and i go in, figure make some money and help them out since they gave me the weekend off. so today, the manager changes the schedule. and i work saturday. so i cant go out now. thats fucking horse shit.

so i went out to kalamazoo last weekend and tailgated. there was this asshole near us with his new AUDI, and he kept throwing cans away from the bums picking them up. to humiliate them. then when he went to leave, he kept bumping into people from my group with his car. when my friend went to help him, he shouted at my friend like he was a lesser human being.

so i lobbed a full can of beer at his car, which was open, and it hit the edge of his moon roof, and got beer EVERYWHERE in his car.

karma was served.
