May not have loaded properly during reboots, your video driver may have been infected, had to be removed, and then replaced from cache...lots of reasons things get weird and then stop.

If you want American strip clubs, Portland is the champ. We have more strip clubs per capita than any other American city according to some statistic I heard but have no source for.

I've heard this too...as well that many of them have a respectable craft beer selection...and strippers with tattoos.

Well, strippers are made up of the population of stripping age here, and that population is heavily tatooed.

It's kind of an embarassment of riches in this city on the craft beer front. Even the diviest of bars has as many microbrews on tap as macro. You can get microbrews in half the movies theaters in town, in bowling alleys, hell, there's even a street cart run by one of the better brewers in town about a mile down the street. It's so weird to go back to Buffalo (or most other places) and have Blue Moon be their "micro" choice.

I know if I lived in Portland you'd have to pay me to leave this place

I'm making a Jenga game three times larger than the original. Have my jigs made to rip the 2x4's and the base done. Lots of cutting and sanding to do but I can't wait for warmer weather so I can string some lights out on the back deck, fire up the grill, crack some beers and play MONSTER JENGA!!!!!

It's one hour minimum, and he has a bunch of people working on this, not just me. He encouraged us to go as many times as we wanted, but said as long as we did the one hour minimum we were good. I'm a communcation major and it's a 3 credit class. This professor is the one who is doing all sorts of stuff about sexual communication, and I've been doing research with him for the past year-ish. Plus, it's not really a report. We're just observing to eventually get up to the point to where we decide what the research question for our study is going to be. I think he just wants a feel for the culture/atmosphere before jumping into proper research.

What kind of wood you gonna use? I'd imagine you're gonna have to sand the F*CK out of those things too. So what will the dimensions of the blocks be? you going for an exact x3?

I'm using pine 2x4's. I'm going to cut each 6 foot piece down its length to get them exactly 3 inches wide. That gives you a piece that is 9"x"3"x1.5" which is 3 times the size of the normal pieces. I'm going to use my router to round the edges just a smidge, I have a small bit that should work just fine then I'm going to use my orbital sander to get them smooth. I'm going to sand the 2x4's before I cut them so I only have to do the ends when they are cut. Ideally I would like to use a harder wood like poplar or even a lighter asian wood but no way I', spending that much on the wood.
