you've obviously seen the new "old" boards so.. There is no way of knowing you have a private message unless you go into the "MY HOME" tab. Some people seem to be receiving a message sent to their e-mail addy but, this is so full of fail it isn't funny.

If the e-mail addy you signed up to the old forums with is now obsolete, you don't get notification.

If the e-mail addy you signed up to the old forums with is your alternate e-mail (g-mail etc) and you don't check it often, you don't see the notification.

If you had (on the old forums) the option checked to never receive pm's.. guess what? They can't change that option now cause those kickapps boards suck sooooooo bad.

There are so many variables it's mind blowing.

Biggest problem is, people that have been invited (and don't know it) don't take the extra time to fiddle around and realize they have a pm in the "MY HOME" tab.

hey everyone, thanks for the welcome. sorry to disappoint End The Curse but i'm not quite 43 years old, only 22. The number is just the one i wore for hockey and football when i was younger. now it just shows that i have zero creativity for account names. i currently live in maryland, kinda sucks but it happens. currently a college student and a mechanic. i make a few trips to buffalo every year for games so maybe one time i'll see some of you.

And ETC remains the oldest member of these boards!!!
