Shit, when did I become gayer than Richard Simmons?

maybe the games against providence will help lalime become a better back up, cause it appears we need more out of him as it seems the team plays like shit in front of him.

I'm just interested to see how he does against AHL teams, if he can't post decent numbers in Portland I think that will negatively affect how the team plays in front of him back here.

What hakutaku said. If he plays like shit against AHL teams, what evidence will that offer the organization to keep him?

They say conditioning, but shit, this may be an undercover job interview.

It's also timely that it happened going into the weekend when Lalime could have played against the Rangers. This is absolutely a statement that they have lost faith in Lalime, and are liking what they have seen lately from a very hot Enroth. I am semi-convinced this is a prelude to going after Marty.

I have a question with regard to this.

Doesn't the job interview come "before" signing a 2 year contract?

Nope, this looks more and more like Darcy covering up this blunder ;) JK
Seriously, he may be down in Portland to build confidence back in him. It could be to give him regular goalie duties to keep him fresh. Or it could be to get him back in "condition" to play in the NHL again.

I don't speak much on Lamo, he was never a choice I would have made when they were lookin for the back up. But, whats done is done. I think trading for Marty Biron is the best option here and ETC and several others have been advocating this for some time now.
If, however, Enroth shows some real talent in his time up here, I would give him the job. Just an opinion though.

I disagree.

I think that they understand that Lalime is not going to be on his game after not seeing any game action for so long. They know they'll need to use him more in the upcoming weeks, so they decided to get him some game action to get his legs under him again.

If he can't post decent numbers in the "A", he should just pack it in. That's all she wrote.

Great, great move. Lalime will get going in Portland, and then come up to play for us. Like we say, he needs some starts to play well, and now he'll have them. I love this.

Totally, I guess this means that Miller won't be getting much rest this month?

Maybe....but if we're getting Lalime ready to start by giving him starts in Portland, then doesn't it mean we'll get him more starts this month? With our scheduling, I'd think he would get 3 or 4 starts.

With Millers play right now I don't think Lalime will see 3 or 4 starts this month even with the tough schedule, unless Miller falls apart. You also have to remember Ruff said Miller won't be practicing as much so he could handle more games.

That's true. But I would think Lalime would get 2 starts. Or at least 1, ha ha.

Oh yeah, I doubt they would play Miller every game, but I don't think Lalime will see 3 or 4 games.

I'd say if Lalime gets lit up like a Christmas tree in the AHL, the management needs to go out and get a good backup goalie who actually wins a fucking game.

I think the time to cut our losses and move in a different direction has long passed.

Looks like he played pretty well, but will the poor guy ever get a fucking win?

Jesus, can we get this man a win, please? 41 saves, 1st star of the game, but another tally in the "L" column. I just want him to win a damn game...if anything for his sake.
