Rusty?? This guy sucks. He can't even win in an AHL game. I don't care if he saves 9 out of 10 shots. Oh sorry, I thought this was the Lalime thread.

He won though, so the team played well in front of him.

He only played 2 periods. If you let in 3 of 13 shots very often you will lose a LOT of games no matter how well the team plays in front of you.

Ahh, simpler times...

When our backup didn't give me a headache when he played...

Biron looks like an axe murderer...

Good Lord, if I look at that picture any more, I'll get nightmares. The eyes! The EYES!

Marty belongs here. Someday maybe, but I just don't see it happening this year.

All I can hope for, regardless if it is Marty or not... is that someone more capable than Lalime comes in to be our backup...

I think Lalime is a "locker room guy" in the coach's eyes. He may be about as valuable as Petey, but the coach keeps him because of leadership too(I personally hate this). Plus I think Millsie likes him, and Millsie is NOW in a position to gain favors. I think you're gonna have to wait out his contract.

I doubt he'll even be here next year if that. I don't think Marty Biron will ever be a Sabre again, and that is because of Enroth.

Dipietro had a very solid showing in his 2nd rehab start.

The Rick to miss next rehab start after removing himself mid-game on Friday.

DP is a mess. He's had so many surgeries he's like frankenstein at this point. I have no idea how he's expected to return to the same form.

This sounds like a very bad omen to me.

Knowing Darcy, if Patty plays well this weekend we can forget about obtaining a new backup this season.
