Cuestionario: Why, when I was a child, was it an event every New Year because I got to stay up past midnight, but now I regularly go downstairs to get something to munch on at 4:00 in the morning to find my two youngest brothers still awake? I have oldest child bitterness. Hahaha.

This time it was OK, though. I secretly watched from the cracked door while my eight-year-old brother danced in his bedroom. That kid is genuinely good and fun to watch. He can pull off the freaking robot, and he's eight. I caught him trying to do the moonwalk, spin, stand on toes the other day, though (which was really surprising because I have no idea when he watches these videos; the little sneak must go on YouTube before anyone else is awake because that's really the only time he could without being found out), and the moonwalk, at least, was just terrible. :P I should teach him, now that I can do it fluidly once more like I could when I was twelve haha. I'm just like, "I wish I could dance when I was eight."

But, seriously, he should have been in bed at 8:00 like I would have been at that age. OH, THE INJUSTICE. I swear my parents are going to end up paying for his college education. They're all, "Nooooo! Never!" but I know. Meanwhile, I don't even get the little that was promised me and factored into my choosing the college I did. Oh well. Most parents become more lax as they raise more children. I will try extra hard not be that way, though. As an oldest child, I acutely hate it and will pay much more attention to it and check myself more than the majority of the population as a result. Hahaha.

oldest child bitterness is a big bitch and i think you should post a video of you moonwalking.

It's more acceptable to be a pussy, and make 10,000 excuses for fucking up, rather than being a man, and taking responsibility for your own actions...why is this?

Because "to be a man" as you put it no longer has any currency.

Used to be that if you owned-up, folks would recognize this and respect your courage - Nowadays, the concepts of honor and respect and integrity are all laughed at, or ignored.

They are part of an atavistic code reserved for paternalistic fraternities, such as the military.

One is actually rewarded for one's indiscretions and flaws by a society that despises the honor-code. The honor-code is demanding and can be a source of humiliation if one lacks honesty, character or integrity.

It is frequently mocked as being non-progressive and a sign of an absolutist and rigid mentality. It is often associated with fascism and aggressiveness and a warring Cro-Magnon mentality. It is criticized as being chauvinistic and misogynistic, for the bonds it builds among those who uphold it. It is exclusive, by its' very nature - It cannot include anyone who lacks self-respect.

Folks have learned that it's better not to judge - Lest one be judged. It is better to forgive - In order to receive forgiveness for some future transgression.

It's called "flexibility". It's called: "Buying Coward's Insurance".

No one loses - And everyone gets a prize. Even when they are extreme douchebags.

Cookies, hugs and kisses, all around. But, not a soul to protect your back, when the time comes.

I like this article a lot, especially number 8.

"The savior of billions dying barely rated a mention in the news this year. Farrah Fawcett wore a bikini well back in the 70s and she got international coverage. Good job, society."

Why do bogus infomercials for bullshit products always have pitchmen or women with an Australian or British accent?

Are we supposed to think that a foreign accent lends some kind of international credibility or authority to their crappy "Made In China" junk?

Hmm. How about instead of that, you destroy this voodoo doll of Jarkko Ruutu I've been working on?

Leftover pizza is truly a delicacy...I'm a big fan of it for breakfast the morning after.

People are talking, talking 'bout people
I hear them whisper, you won't believe it
They think we're lovers kept under cover
I just ignore it, but they keep saying
We laugh just a little too loud
We stand just a little too close
We stare just a little too long
Maybe they're seeing something we don't, darlin'

....

I only can talk about it...

John Fogerty said something similar to that once...

Now I have to listen to that song.
