Oh, gee, well if you say the case is closed I guess thats the end of it.
and by "it" I do of course mean my interest in things you have to say.

No moves, no finish.... No intelligence?

I'd say he's pretty young too... I know on paper he's 20 something but he doesn't even look like he's hit puberty

What with all the bashing threads (coughcoughpominshitcoughcough) I've participated in/created...I figured i'd post a positive thread. PSP has inspired me to take a somewhat cheerier view of the team.

I. Freaking. Love. Kennedy.

This kid not only has the moves, speed, vision, passing, and insane playmaking ability...but he works his ASS off, he BANGS, he has passion and heart and motivation. I truly am finding it hard not to love everything he does.

Hell, he even made pominville slightly more tolerable to me, when kennedy was getting a rough treatment in front of the caps goal last night pominville actually (sort of) stuck up for him. Usually we'd see pomindiarrhea just skate away like the little twat he is, but this time he actually shoved someone. IMAGINE! He must realize how important kennedy is as well.

So, I hope everyone now has bubbles and pink hearts floating above their heads, what with all the love i've poured out in one location. Sorry for the mess, here's a towel.

Vanek (Vanek!) of all people came to his defense as well.

Mike Grier also seems to be very impressed with Kennedy as well. and Lindy couldn't say enough good things about his play last night.
The only downside I've really seen is his faceoffs but it seems he is really motivated to get better at that, and he's been working with the Goose, so hopefully things will only get better :)
If he continues to play like he's playing, perhaps I will know whose jersey I'm getting next!

of COURSE Grier is impressed with kennedy, without checking the stats I can recall at least 4 of griers goals which were basically just easy shots/tap-ins, from great plays kennedy set up.

If Kennedy can get faceoffs down, he'll be a great center.

given the great opportunities he's had he could be a lot higher on that list if he was finishing well.

Funny thing is, he scores two points say - tonight - and he's in the top ten.

Kennedy is doing great, he is playing the defensive role so well, and the scoring will come.

It's hard to teach defense, but easier to teach offense, if you have defense down pat, the offense WILL come.

I read a comment on Facebook that someone wanted to see Kennedy go away, some people are just stupid.

I concur. There's only two or three points separating him from being in the top ten.

the scoring will come. if it doesnt, he could still be an effective defensive forward.

Indeed. He's already a useful player, and that's very nice indeed.

The biggest thing he needs to improve on is his strength. If he can be stronger and battle more physically on the boards he'll be much more effective offensively. For now he's relying on his quick hands and shifty skating, but being stronger on the puck will make him a real threat. Maybe when Connolly's contract is up Kennedy can make him expendable.
