**DATE CHANGE TO APRIL 3rd**

Okay so i figured I'd host a meet and greet. I plan on requesting the members room for this date April 3rd, 2010. I will plan on ordering a pizza from Good Guy's Pizzeria, and the location will be the fire hall at which i belong, Wendelville Volunteer Fire Hall. if you type that into google maps the location pops right up. It is on the corner of N. Tonawanda Creek Road and Campbell Blvd. The room capacity is 125 people but I don't for see that as a problem. We have a bar (pop and beer on tap (bud, Labatt Blue and light), Michelob ultra, Bud light lime, and possibly molson light in the fridge) and some liquor in the cabinet, in regulations with our by-laws only members are allowed behind the bar), pool table, shuffle board table, and I am willing to show people around the fire trucks. I do ask that people are courteous to any other firemen that may wander in or be present, as well not making a mess as I will be responsible for the cleaning of the Hall once the party ceases. As well no underage drinking I am not looking to get in trouble with the fire department. Parking is on the opposite of the door unfortunately as it is only members parking by the door. I'll be running around like a chicken with his head cut off but will try to direct parking. My car a Rav-4 should be near the entrance door. http://www.wendelvillevfc.com/ the fire company's homepage if yall should need an address. The fire hall is about 10 - 15 minutes away from UB north (and i went to NU which is more like 30-40 min lol).

Prices
Beer Draft/ pop - $0.50
top shelf liquor - $1.25 (ie jack, captain, johnny walker, seven crowns, bailey's, Southern, and a couple others)
shots: $ 0.75
If we still have guiness - $2.00
151 shots - $2.00
mixed drinks lower class alcohol - $1.00 (BV, Bacardi rum, Gin, Vodka, )
shots - $0.50
Wine - $1.00
Bottled beer - $1.00
Pitchers - $3.00
Snacks - as marked
- cashews $1.00 i think that is the only thing not marked.

well post if you can attend.

parking will not be a problem. i forgot about the fence adjacent to the members parking, and the around the back of the building. a time can be hammered out but the game starts at 7:30PM. health nuts will not really want to eat extremely late so i like i said the time can be hammered out.

Whole cashews? Half cashews? Salted? Roasted? Planters/Generic?

PMF - can you provide a list of motels nearby for those that might be driving some distance?

I might show up for this. I've tried to stay out of the Niagara County fire hall circuit since I left , so I dunno.

Not a bad little trip. Campbell is just off of the 990, and Wendelville is only a couple miles up Campbell, just over the bridge.

Count me in.

This should work well for those of you at UB, or in Niagara County.

I will be at the game, but this does indeed sound like a good time.

ditto that. It's always nice being in a group at a restaurant and having your own area.

Well, there will be an alternate Pre-Game MNG at Pearl St for myself, Melly, Jay, Los, CV, and a few others who are attending the game that night. This could be the first Double MNG Night the group has ever pulled off!

pretty sure they are regular salted cashews, what ever comes in an individual package. as for hotels in the vicinity. the closest is the marriot near maple or a couple on the boulevard near the walmart. the hall is literally right across the erie county border, you are not really that far into niagara county. in fact when the weatherman talk we listen to what is going to happen to northern erie county. as well from UB north take the audabon to dodge to campbell. anyone taking the 990 get off at N. french and turn left, then at the noco station turn right on campbell. from transit turn left at tonawanda creek rd north right after the first niagara bank. stay on that road kind of a straight so that uncle g's ice cream is on the right. then up through what we call the village still tonawanda creek rd N. then left near the park, and once you hit the light you'll see the hall.

as long as you did not leave on bad terms and like i said not many people show up on a saturday night. it isn't like the fire hall is out to make money with parties, movie nights, etc. the only guy that ever shows up saturday nights is torrisi and he ref's hockey, and races cars, and is 80 ish. knowledgable guy about hockey. sometimes jarvis is there and he is never a problem i work with him over the summer, as long as he has his beer he his fine, and tony, is actually interested in meeting my friends and would probably bartend if i asked him.

No no, you guys were fine. Never had a problem with the Wendelville guys.

Just got a sour taste in my mouth from all the shit I had to deal with in Sanborn, that's all.

game starts 7:30 but i figured that is pretty late to eat so i figured this way there is some gap space as well. i have the hall reserved, so all is set on that end, and i know how to tap the kegs.

Hey Psych - it looks like you've gone to great lengths to plan this and that is very nice of you :) Is there any flexibility with the date? I ask because there is already a fairly large group meeting at Pearl Street Grille that night and attending the game. It's looking more and more like I'll be going to the game as well. I'd hate to split everyone up like that.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the other M-n-G date. It was kind of tough to decipher what went down in that thread.

Yeah, Phil has a reservation for the 3/27 date at Pearl Street bar before we head off to the game.
