Shame on you America: the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations. 99% of people won't have the guts to copy and repost this

I don't like saying this, but the douchebags really come out of the wordwork when this stuff happens. I've wanted SO BAD to go off on people who've said rude (to say the least) things in the past, talking about how they're glad someone died (I've been in the position where one of my friends knew someone about whom that was said locally and was close friends with him and his wife... he was a wonderful person and had morons saying that about him because of how he died... I'm glad his daughter was not and is not old enough to use the internet) or posting something just absolutely ignorant... I'm really, really considering doing so this time around.
Thing is, I barely know him anymore. I went to high school with him; he was two years below me. Because there is really noooo relationship there at all, I know he won't listen to me. People with that kind of opinion will stubbornly refuse to listen to anyone differing from them that they're not good friends with. Soooo... It would be pointless. But oooohhh, how I want to beat him down and get that feeling of satisfaction that comes when I do that on message boards and receive no reply (which means the person knows he was wrong and doesn't know what to say in response, usually, because he doesn't want to admit it to himself... so he keeps on thinking the way he did before; when that happens in person, the other person will suddenly not care about a topic he'd suddenly been veeerrrrryyyyy passionate about. "I don't care! I really don't care. Can we talk about something else?" HMMMM).
I thought I felt mad at all the $1.00 bills I saw earlier in the jars collecting money for Haiti at a pancake dinner my college had purely for students to donate money (donations were optional), when I KNOW that half the kids are having their tuition paid for by their parents. There were three $20.00 bills, two $10.00 bills, and eight $5.00 bills total, and i know exactly who donated them. So, uhh...
That was nothing, though. This should be in the pissed off thread lol. I just want to tell him/them off, but I know it wouldn't change anything...
