It is 24 degrees with about 3 inches of snow on the ground.

Nothing is open really, and I'm bored, might go out and about anyways real soon.

Well, I don't like the trackball, so whichever of the two has the trackpad, I'm going with that one.

I've put off going to the "orange box" long enough. Ugh! I hate going there on weekends.

On the plus side, after multiple attempts, I found my Timberland Waterproof boots online, with free shipping, and a coupon code for 20% off (which translates to about $25), and only $5.00 tax. Go, me!

I just tried telling my 8-year-old brother on the phone that the world used to be in black and white and that the proof is in old photographs and films. He was all, "Jael, no it isn't. You tried telling me that when we watched The Elephant Man when I was seven in the summer, and I knew you were lying then."

Dang it. I forgot about that.

Reminds me of myself. I didn't believe in Santa Claus when I was little despite my father's best attempts at deception. I was all, "lol that doesn't make sense." So sad, because he only has like a year left of being gullible, and I'll never be able to use it to my own hilarious advantage.

I always lived in gray.

A real misconception of mine was that Marilyn Monroe and Marilyn Manson were siblings. :? I didn't realize that Marilyn Monroe lived a while ago. I also thought that a mini van was a van shaped like Minnie Mouse. What.

So my friend who never misses any of my calls has been ignoring them lately... I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that he owes me $70.

I'm about to go ice skate on my driveway and road.

The roads are basically solid ice now, and I'm about to ice skate outside in natural weather conditions in NC, and it's snowing again right now. I'll see if I can get some pictures of it for the coolness factor.

okay this was nuts. we just received a text around the entire county for dwyer arena. for a second i really thought something was wrong. it was like holy crap then they came over the air to say to not take it seriously except upper mountain. we joke around a lot about upper mountain and wendelville having a mutual call because we are like so far apart. thought it was finally coming true lol. from absolute terror at a MCI to the joking between our companies all in an instant. crazy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

My favorite poem since I was a little boy and my dad would read it to me at bedtime.

My subdivision road was solid ice so I went skating for about an hour. It was really cool as I never thought I'd have an opporunity to skate outside in NC with Natural weather conditions.
