Sometimes when I go places with my brother closest to me in age I wonder if people think we're dating because we look nothing alike. I got dirty looks from people when I brought my youngest brother to the store once when he was two because they thought I was his mother. I'm pretty sure no one would think that now. I don't look much older than I am anymore the way I did when I was 10-15. I had 19-year-olds hitting on me when I was thirteen. :? They thought I was about eighteen.

The snow here from earlier this week almost entirely melted today... I walked around without a jacket on.

Sweet! I've been looking at possibly going to UB, but for the life of me I can't find a list of required/recommended high school courses that would help me get in.

There really aren't any in particular, but it wouldn't hurt to take as many AP courses as possible or stuff that pertains to your major. That goes for any school.

Also, if you score well on your SATs and have above a 90% overall average, you'll be considered for their Provost scholarship which starts at a minimum of $2500 per year.

Waiting for word back from Buff State before I make any decision, but I'm more likely to go to UB than anywhere else.

Psychology. I know UB has a better psychology program, but I want to see what my scholarship and financial options are before I make a total commitment.

Yay psych majors.

I'm gonna read some more Jung this summer. Here I come, Amazon. I've already got a list of books if I have the money. <3 used books

Nazareth has a pretty good program as well. I went to NU for psyche. I kind of got drawn by the amount of money offered and the fact that i knew one of the psyche professors. But i know Naz has a good program. As to Jung, very interesting theories put forth. My study was more into the behavioral part, mostly because i was looking at the BAU of the FBI, of course if medical school doesn't pan out.

This is really poignant.

Edit:
another one, same subject...

I do, too, and it's not the kind of "love" I have for, say, Freud, whose ideas are just kind of fun to tear down, for the most part (some of them are pretty accurate in my estimation, though). I like socionics a lot, too, which uses a lot of his work in personality theory (I just don't really agree with the type relation theories... at all...). Of course the MBTI does, too, but it's not as in depth or purely theoretical as socionics. It is more precise, though... Archetypes are fun, too. I need to go through and review his work, though. It's been a couple years. Most of the stuff I read on my own time has more to do with sociology and culture and race, that kind of thing, at least when it comes to actual books. Research on the internet is unpredictable. The only books I have specifically on psychology are ones by Keirsey, who I don't really care for. In the books I have, he's too elementary and simplistic. I want complexity and obnoxiousness (most people don't like Jung because of his complexity bahaha).

2 of my friends go to SUNY Geneseo for psychology and are graduating with their BS in May. After school is over, one is going to Charlotte, NC and the other to Jacksonville, FL to do Teach for America, which is a program that is trying overcome educational inequality. My friends are twins, who have never lived apart in their entire existence. I'm gonna miss them when they move. :(

It was weird because in my letter it said "Your request for admission to the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences has been declined. The specialized nature of the curriculum requires particularly strong preparation in technical areas such as math, chemistry, and physics in order to succeed."
I was like :? Is this what I get for not taking physics this year? I must have put something in wrong when I applied, because bioinformatics is not in that school anyway.

It doesn't matter since I don't plan on going there, but it just seemed weird for that to be in your acceptance letter. :|

Sounds like my school is gonna drop JV golf, thus forcing me out of the sport until at least my senior year. (Just like every other sport, Var is filled with Juniors) After the AD promised that no sports would be cut this last summer. DAMN!!!
