I did my bi-weekly platelet donation at the cancer center. I was fine when I got there; then about an hour into it, my BP dropped almost 50 pts, I passed out, and when I came to, I'd gotten very ill....all over myself. Blecch!

I feel bad because I couldn't finish the cycle in order to donate to someone who needed platelets.

Because we had to stop before the "return" part of the cycle was completed, I lost about a 1/2 pint of fluid. Coupled with the sudden drop in BP, and I was somewhat dehydrated, it pretty much wiped me out for the day.

Fortunately, an angel of mercy descended upon my humble abode with gingerale and some milk for cereal, and now I am finally feeling better!

ETC, you should make a better attempt to be available more often. XC gave away the bar again last night and did me in. I remember getting mad in the Slovak V Canada GDT that no one believed me the Slovaks would still score so I signed out. I was so happy when they did, I was on pins and needles hoping they would have tied it up.
The best thing about all of it?! Mr. Schony knew I was trashed and pissed so he cheered me up with two surprise tickets to River Dance next weekend. After a 15 year run, the show is coming to an end and Buffalo is their last stop before closing in NYC in March. Now I'm psyched!

I'll have a Mimosa to get rid of the fuzzies please
