That's basically the long and short of it Yankee. My first post on it starts on page 523.

Stuuuu, I cant find the pages where you tell the original story, so from what i'm hearing they had a pig which got eaten by their dogs, were on the news for it, and are now doing it again. What kind of dogs are they? What kind of pig? Is it the kind that stays small, or is it going to get big? Is it only vulnerable to the dogs while it's a piglet? Would it be safe after a certain age?

Just trying to get a feel for the problem. From what i've heard so far i'm gonna have to advocate neighborhood quasi-vigilantism. A pig-snatching might be in order. I'd say set up a safe place for the pig to go, like, some farm of something which will take it. Then wait till the next opportunity you have to grab the pig when it gets out, (making sure you're not seen...) grab it, get it to the safe spot. Viola.

There are some sick sons-a-bitches out there. Now I would have been able to stomach the first in a "shame on them" type deal. I would have intervened as soon as I saw a second pig. You are a far better man than I. Now as it pertains to your current situation. I would call a farm and explain the recent occurances or just tell them that you are looking to donate a pig because you were unable to properly care for it. Seeing how you have reacted to this I am sure that you would be able to care for the little guy.

This "crime" with which you are contemplating committing is completely justifiable.

Other acceptable means of vigilante punishment include letting air out of tires, placing a piece of shit on corner of car windshield so that wipers will not push it off, and doing an Arabian bullwhip on their front door. Urban dictionary that. I feel no sympathy for this asshole at all.

unfortunately, justified "crime" doesnt hold up in courts. i wish the law recognized vigilante law breaking for the benefit of humans and animals like this. but sadly, it doesnt.

that said, if someone is willing to break the law for the betterment of others, and are willing to accept consequences, id do it. seriously. fuck the law.

Fuck the law indeed. I am starting to think that this fellar might have some serious mental problems(pig killer).

I honestly give up on meeting sane people in my travels. Uncle Same sends us everywhere and I'm just fucking done with making new friends.

Hey man, I get center ice and am down for a chicken wing/beer/Sabres night any weekend you want. Also, I need to find shit to do. I am a stay at home dad and the only people I meet are on my street....and they are all subdivion crazies. I need a dang man weekend to recharge my batteries. It wears on you being house bound with the kids and tied to the four walls all day. I have been thinking about getting a small fishing boat, just something with a motor and that can get me out on the water to kind of use as my get away vehicle.

Fuck the law indeed. I am starting to think that this fellar might have some serious mental problems(pig killer).

I spent one afternoon last summer listening to the cops talk to him on megaphones saying that they didn't want him to hurt himself. Probably just a cry for attention, but yeah, not the most stable guy. That is one of the reasons I really don't want to raise his ire.

But as far as "fuck the law", I'd like to be able to just say I'm right and fuck the consequences, but I am a licensed teacher. I'm already out of work because my school closed last year. Any felony could seriously threaten my already threatened livelihood. Plus I need to renew my license. Not to mention my wife and I are trying to adopt a child. So I really don't feel I have the freedom to take the law into my own hands.

Agreed, this is the sort of thing which needs to be hired out.

On a completely unrelated note Stuuuuu, why dont you give me your address for that 'tree removal' you were wanting to get. For that tree in your yard you dont want. You know the one...short, pink, goes 'oink oink', etc.

Man o man. My wife is TDY up in Rochester for the week with Air Force training so I'm solo-daddying it right now. My youngest has been throwing up every meal since last night and it's also muggy as balls here. My neighbor went nuts and his sister's kids (4, one of them is autistic) have been staying at Hotel Pat because he put a knife in a wall or something. You'd think I lived in the ghetto but craziness abounds in the burbs. Been raining the last two days so I'm being creative with forts and a Harry Potter marathon. Holy fuck do i hate being an adult sometimes.

Just have the Sabres sign him! That's (size) basically the only reason they signed both Joe Finley and John Scott. Slap some skates on him, call him a stay-at-home defenseman, and Darcy will come running.

Perfect! John Scott 2.0, just train him in bareknuckle boxing and he's all set.

Surely she could get a similar job in Ontario, no? I ask because I can put you in touch with people in Markham (NW Toronto) who could probably use you for the same type of work you are doing today.
Also, provincial taxes in Ontario are WAY lower than those in Nova Scotia.
PM me if you're interested.

Just now getting to replying, sorry man...

I had 2 options to follow up within the company for a move to Ontario in Belleville as well as North Bay, but with her only being a PCP (Primary Care Paramedic) it's almost close to impossible to get work up there as they pump out so many medics every year. That is why a lot of them come down this way or head out west; it is harder to get in the union up there because of very little movement. If she had her ACP tag (Advanced care) it would be easier but still a task. Markham would be awesome as that is where my mom and sis are located, so it would be cool to be closer to them since I don't get to spend too much time with them.

Maybe I'll win the lotto tonight? Something good has to happen sooner or later, right? Or I'll find a job within my wheelhouse that pays close to what I'm making now...

For the love of Grier, I hope so
