ETC, you should change the heading to have something to do with USA hockey!

And then I'll drink a Budweiser!

Anheiser Busch is owned by the InBev company from Belgium....grab a Sam Adams instead ;)
Sadly, they're the largest domestically owned brewery now.

I forgot about that. That makes me sad. :(

It's ok...the best beer in the world is still American craft beer...forget about the mega-swill companies.

What nation are you cheering for? Sorry to break the news to you, but AB isn't an American company anymore. It was bought out by the Eurotrashy Belgians...

Today is one of the greatest days of all time. The gold medal game against Canada and the Jewish holiday of Purim.

Purim is a holiday celebrating the events in ancient Persia, roughly 2,500 years ago, when the Hitler of his era, Haman, influenced King Achashverosh to exterminate the Jews, but was miraculously foiled by the cunning, bravery and guile of heroine Queen Esther and hero Mordechai (her uncle).

To commemorate this event, Jews young and old dress in costume (because God was never mentioned in the Megillah Esther, his presence was "hidden" or "disguised", as it is still today). In addition, Jews must give charity to the poor, hear the public reading of the book of Esther from a scroll (normally in the synagogue), and have a big, feasting party (called a seudah) in which we are COMMANDED BY JEWISH LAW TO GET SHIT FACED!

So, today will be a huge party at ETC's, with 12 lbs of wings, 5 lbs of ground beef for sliders, 2 lbs of tater tots, 2 lbs of skinny fries, 2 lbs of blue cheese, 1lb of celery, and most importantly, 2 cases of beer, 3 bottles of scotch, 3 bottles of vodka, 2 bottles of rum, and 8 bottles of wine.

We will be really fucking pickled watching the game...I hope you all can join the party, too!

I need to find a religion that's light on rules but stacked in the holiday department.

Why not just piggy back on my party, instead!

Happy Purim to my favorite bubbelah and mensch!
Love,
Your favorite Yenta Shiksa and Goyim (yeah, I know, slightly derogatory, but I knew you'd see the humor in it) ;)
