Well we all know that Canada doesn't close out games, they haven't all tournament, minus the Russia game, and thats even in question...Plus the USA has two of the most clutch Goal scorers in the world in Drury and Parise, I'm not worried at all

LOL how drunk are you watching this game. The refs haven't called any of your guys interference. I've seen at least 5 USA hits away from the play. In return the refs arent calling Prongers interference or any of the hacking by both teams. If your upset by the reffing then your an idiot. And please dont tell me to shut my mouth all I've done is post replies reflecting to the game and sharing my opinions. If you dont wanna read them then mute me.

It's just a little weird to ask why all the Toews hate when he's the one that scored for Canada, and the majority of Sabres fans are American. Ummm. DUH. There's completely irrational hatred for anyone that scores on the Sabres in GDTs and some untrue things are said about the person on occasion because people are pissed, but nobody ever asks why when that happens because we're all rooting for the same team...

Yeah but when Drury scored against us on Sunday my reaction wasn't now I hate Drury. I hated Brodeur. I don't hate players who score the goals. I hate the fact that they scored the goal.

I have complete confidence that Drury will score. I never have dreams about hockey (and some will say dreams are not an indication, but a pipe dream), but it was so real and so clutch, I woke myself up. I had the dream before we even played an Olympic game so...... we got this far. Maybe it's a good sign of things to come.

That's nice to use yourself and one isolated event as an example, but as a whole, a lot of times people say things in GDTs that are fueled purely by the emotion of the moment, and I'm sure you have done it before. I think it's silly and ridiculous, but I've done it. It doesn't happen for every goal scored, but it does take place pretty often. You know this. Don't criticize people for saying things that are said with regularity, that in all other instances you don't mind because most of the the time you're rooting for the same team and agree with the sentiment behind it...
