And no, I don't like Nickelback. They're pretty awful.

I hate nickelback as well why can't they get better music? There is better Canadian music than this.

I'm so old I can honestly say with a straight face...who is this Nickelback and why do so many people dislike them - whoever they are?

Never heard any of their music, as far as I know. So I can't judge them.

 This! A crying shame how they dismembered some MetallicA greats like, "Sad But true" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls". Just wrong!!!

Yeah that was back in Dec. but who cares now, I thought the States were not going to be good either and Russia was going to win gold.

I'd think the Barenaked ladies would have performed. they are somewhat respectable.

I liked the closing ceremony at the end with the Canadian orgasmic pep rally at the end. Michael Buble is a real treasure. And all the hockey stuff actually made me feel better about them winning. I just wish it wasn't frikken fag CROSBY.

I've always loved Canada and that made me love it even more. Such a beautiful country. What I love about it is the unique blend of American and European culture. They are our kinder, gentler brother to the North.

...okay...I have to stop now...I'm gonna make mySELF barf. LOL

I think I watched a second of it, after hearing Bob Costas comment on the hockey game, I had to shut it off.

But it was cool to hear Al Michaels say "Hockey at its best IS the best".
