I wish we could have seen it, to get a better indication of how they actually played.

That one feed showed the game.

The Sabres dominated the play for most of the game, except I never saw the third goal.

But the first goal I didn't see either, them stupid fucks talking too much.

The second goal was a giveaway and a great shot by whoever score it.

Ice, remember how bad our veterans looked for the Bills on offense during the preseason?

Even if they looked bad in one game, except Vanek as he was a beast chasing after pucks and playing great, they all have different attitudes in the preseason.

It's mostly for the rookies trying to make the cut, and some guys like Pominville, Connolly, Roy, don't have to play as hard because there just isn't anyone who is better then them on the team, and they know once the regular season comes then it is the true time to play balls to the wall hockey. No need to injure yourself in the preseason.

I too am thinking that preseason is to do a little skating around, get some plays and strategies figured out, and don't get hurt, don't get hurt, don't get hurt.

Besides, I'd love to get off to a really slow start this year. Fast starts don't work too well for us. Peak mid/late season, and charge into the playoffs. No burning out.

Yup, lose lots, then we'll be good. Sounds crazy, but it just might work. :shifty:

thats what it used to be like with the bills during the superbowl era. they would lose practically every preseason game, then turn around and make it to the superbowl. sorry to dash earlier had to swim while the pool is still heated.

I don't care how they play during preseason. Regular season is what matters the most, you can be 0-6 in the preseason and go on and win 54 games in the regular season easily.

of course that has since been followed by 8 or more years of not even seeing the playoffs.

Fuck trends; Polian simply put together a great collection of talent. His biggest mistake was Marv Levy. Marv Levy?? Yes, Marv Levy; he who's players where out all night prior to their Super Bowl appearances. Great organizer, a man who the players liked; a man who had no control over his players.....

yeah i can agree with that. hmm, the superbowl is tomorrow lets go out and get hammered. great idea. I know my college swim coach wouldn't let us stay out past 1:00 AM and there was no drinking three days prior to a swim meet, and it was enforced. You did not want to do a practice when somebody got caught hung over at a meet. and we all had to do the practice, so we all hounded each other.
