Then the Devils and Penz are your biggest worry?

Makes sense.

I worry about anyone. Brodeur and Fluery can be brilliant, so yes, they are formidable. Pittsburgh has a dynamic offense, and New Jersey play a lock down style.

I am not predicting an early exit for Ottawa or Washington, just saying their goaltending could be their downfall.

If we are playing Washington in the first round then it means that we choked so badly that we fell to the #7 or # 8 spot.

In that case we get swept in four anyway, just because the team completely collapsed.

Realistically, we are talking about Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Boston, or Philadelphia (maybe Tampa, Atlanta or the Rangers crawl back into it).

I say bring on the Senators. Fuck all if we are going to shake in our boots before any team.

If we don't win our Division we play Pittsburgh since we will finish 4th or 5th and same with Pittsburgh.

We won't play Ottawa first round unless we fall to 6th or they are in 6th, even if we are second, I doubt Ottawa falls that far same with us.

YIKES!

I don't know about their goaltending, but WHO really would want to face these guys in any round? They jhave just gotten better every one of the last few years.

Actually all the seedings below Washington are now up for grabs thanks to both New Jersey and Buffalo tanking for the last month. There's only three points between NJ, Buf, Pit, and Ott. Buffalo could finish 2nd or 3rd and play any of six teams, or finish 4th or 5th and play either NJ or Pit. As the OT/SO games pile up the standings stay jammed and there's no way to predict a thing.

Probably the Canadian Olympics team. That team would kill us.

Washington would eliminate us in five games (at the most). The Pens would beat us, as well. New Jersey is just plain boring hockey.

Very true. Can't beat around the bush.

I don't know that the match-ups against Washington or new Jersey are all that bad to tell you the truth.

I think in the past few years we've done a decent job at playing a lock-down style against the capitals. If you can contain Ovechkin, and that's a big if, that team has trouble beating you.

I don't know that I trust Brodeur in the playoffs anymore than I did last year.

The Pens scare me the most because they have the goaltender that has proven himself in key moments, the ability to lack it down, or simply bury you in goals.

I am happy to face anyone in the playoffs at any stage. In the end, you gotta win them all. Motherfucking Ottawa obviously poses the biggest problems for us, but beating them (I know, get real) would provide the highest reward.

I said I'd like to play Ottawa first.

A win against Ottawa in a playoff round would make this team's confidence soar, and give them the momentum they need for a long run...

Lets face it. We haven't played our game against Ottawa once yet this season.

When the Sabres finally step on the ice and bring it, I don't think the Sens are good enough to play with us. They just need to drive hard to the net and use their speed to take the game over.

Then again, losing to them means mass suicide.

And a much needed shake up of the Sabres lineup proven by a first round loss to Ottawa. :D

I guess what I meant more is, the first five seeds are going to be these teams at the end of the season.

Also the Last team I want to see is a Western conference Team. :D

Personally, I think that if Philly gets it together, and they are showing signs of doing just that, watch out.

Again, a team that could play very well, but still fall short of expectations due to questionable goaltending......

After Washington, it's wide open right now......

(Thank you, Master Of The Obvious.....)

I'm beginning to think the answer to that question is...the Sabres.
