I think emotions got to the best of us (I was getting really annoyed with hnfjw myself). I was all for something to just make him stop because his posts appeared (at the time) to be purposeful. In hindsight, it was harsh to ban him but I support our mods. They're not perfect and make spur of the moment decisions that will be questioned and debated.

I think there may have been 2 people total in both those threads...

lots of stuff I still have questions about (like why was my suspension extended to 7 days when other users opposed the initial ban.. it's like a judge doubling a sentence when a lawyer speaks out on behalf of his client..)

But that's all behind now, and the doubling of the sentence I found more funny then was offended...

I think both USA and Canada teams can hold their heads up high, and it will be easier for Team USA w/o that heavy Gold Medal around their neck.. (o.k, that was the last joke, and you got to admit, for the ban this was a freebie that was owed to me..)

I'm with ETC and Howie. While a mod may(as you admitted Squanto) be wrong, this is wrong on 2 or 3 levels. Maybe Shony was wrong for the ban, but BEFORE she could chillax and think it over, dude kept CREATING NEW ACCOUNTS. Unacceptable. He should have accepted his fate, and repealed it accordingly, not by popping in with funny new names to piss off said mod. Next level, we all know Shony's character, and she's usually sweet as pie to all. Not only did you(Squanto) admit it was wrong to make your dispute public, but now you insist a 2nd inquiry is appropriate. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. I think the bygones should have already become bygones by now, and this thread is bs.

/sorry if this is too harsh, but after another loss I'm just feeling like saying it how I feel.
