I went with the APR stage one. Here's the performance chart:

Image

It's incredible how much of a difference it made. I knew that it was a pretty significant jump on paper, but I had no idea how much of a difference it would really make behind the wheel.

Stock, the car is not that quick. It'll run a 0-60 in 7.3. Now, I'm running them just under 6.

The most impressive thing, however, is the ability to jump from 50-100 in absolutely no time. It's crazy. If you get on it, you can feel the extra 100 lb ft of torque push you to the back of the seat. Next thing you know, you look down and you're doing 100-110 miles per hour.

Best part is, it removed the governor. Pulled onto a secluded part of our local highway and topped it out at 150.

Not bad for a little 2.0 Turbo, no? :D

Not bad at all, ECU tunes really free up power on the 2.0T. It will definitely make you enjoy your car a lot more. Acceleration on the highway must seem effortless, I love merging onto the expressway in third gear from 50-75 mph with my Saab.

I know on a lot of tunes you can get better mileage, is that the case with this?

When I'm not pushing it, absolutely. During casual driving, I'm actually seeing about a 5 mpg improvement. It's awesome.

All so they make their gas guzzling 6 cylinder model more appealing for 8,000 extra dollars.

Pretty nice work.

Most simple ECU tunes do that 40HP+ gain for sure.

Bet it's much more fun to drive now. I know I would love to get a stand alone ECU for a 240sx with SR20DET in it if I ever get the chance to build one.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.

It's a BLAST!

I can stay right on pace with a lottt of fast stuff out there now.

It's not an overly heavy vehicle, so 300 lb ft pulls the living daylights out of it.

EDIT: Also, BTW, I did a K&N filter. For what it's worth. Probably giving me +5 in both areas.
