With his 3 points tonight, Myers jumped from 6th to 3rd in rookie scoring.

good luck to him to catch duchene. tavares one more point, duchene 12.

He won't have to catch Duchene to have a great crack at the Calder, IMO. If he's second in rookie scoring and only Duchene is ahead of him, then Myers will take it.

His impact this season as a rookie has been the greatest of all rookies.

You are correct, he is a defenseman, he doesn't have to lead all rookies in scoring, his contributions on the defensive side in conjuction with his offensive contributions should be the major factors, I mean, the kid is playing what? 24+minutes a game.

When Myers plays defensively as well as he does, and leads all rookies in assists AND icetime, he's punching his own card for the Calder.

Now, if this continues with Mancari-Vanek-Roy, what to do with Stafford. If Mancari is the RWer, does Stafford get moved at the deadline, or does Grier not get resigned in the off season? Thoughts?

Is Drew a "grinder"? Isn't that Grier's roll, more or that 3rd 4th line grinder... I don't see Drew being able to do that, he's been playing WAY to soft lately ... I think Drew should be playing with a purse! He's been a wuss.....

I like the VRM line.... close to VRM OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM..... vroom line....lol

Exactly.

Looking back now, who could have predicted John Tavares being nowhere near the Calder talk 3/4 of the way through the season?

This reminds me, A BIG THANK YOU to all those who helped me watch AVATAR online today. Now I can speak with my step son about it, he so wanted me to see it, and a very good movie by the way, great special affects.

The Sabres are trying to apply the finishing blows tonight...no sitting back in their game, and I like it.

Did everyone see how all the Stars players just froze while Myers was cycling on the outside? THAT is why I love hockey, and what Tyler Myers brings to the game, specifically.
