His impact this season as a rookie has been the greatest of all rookies.

You are correct, he is a defenseman, he doesn't have to lead all rookies in scoring, his contributions on the defensive side in conjuction with his offensive contributions should be the major factors, I mean, the kid is playing what? 24+minutes a game.

Looking back now, who could have predicted John Tavares being nowhere near the Calder talk 3/4 of the way through the season?

Did everyone see how all the Stars players just froze while Myers was cycling on the outside? THAT is why I love hockey, and what Tyler Myers brings to the game, specifically.
