I prefer it locked after 24 hours, sometimes you still want to add some comment on the game after it is over.

I think it should be 6 hours after the game in case people who actually went to the game want to post something about something haha. After the Flyers game I wanted to post something but it had already been locked... so ya.

Stupid question perhaps...but why do game day threads need to be locked at all? Is there some plague of people posting there a long time after the game?

I've thought about that as well, and I am discussing that with the other mods.

It seems the most sense for whichever mod is up first the following morning (Squanto ) to lock it then.
