go to an MLB game man. 15 bucks for outfield seats, its great. make sure its a saturday day game. for some reason, day games are SO much more enjoyable.

Well, Mike, the problem lies in the closest game being either Cleveland, which is a 3 hour drive, or Toronto, which is across the border. Seeing as I do not have a car or a passport, looks like I'm stuck going to my local AAA club.

EXHALE EVERYONE!

joe mauer will not be a new york yankee at seasons end. mauer signed a 8 year, 184 dollar extension with the twins. good!

I mean Mlb games are fun, and hyped certainly towards the postseason...but sometimes just to take a trip out to watch a game is boring.

I'm a big mets fans, and I've been to probably around 50 yankees and mets games, but I think AAA is almost just as fun.

And that field is absolutely GORGEOUS.

carl crawford is a good corner outfielder, but hes not going to add anything to the yankees really. joe mauer, on the other hand, is a once in a lifetime catcher whose already got a spot reserved in cooperstown.

i also find it weird that the yankees refuse to resign jeter and rivera, im sure one will resign after the season, but im not positive. im not sold either will be a yankee come next year.

its not that the yankees wont sign either of them. its that they wont negotiate during the season.

they've told jeter that they want him back and they would be fucking clown shoes if they let Rivera go.

oh yeah, its not something i expect. but! it wouldnt shock me. theres been some talk of "bringing jeter home" to detroit (raised in kalamazoo, which is a 90-105 minute drive down 94).. do i think its likely? no. do i want it to happen? FUCK NO. but he spends most of his off season back here, so i wouldnt be shocked.

I can see Jeter being resigned and I think Rivera will retire. But can you imagine if they had Crawford right now? If I was other teams in the AL east I'd throw in the white flag. The top of the Lineup would be deadly with Jeter, Granderson and Crawford, they'd probably have to bat Texiera 5th or something

grandersons bat has gone sour. he cant hit lefties... i mean, literally, cant hit them. he hit like .160 against lefties last year and his strikeout rate was out of fucking control. he also is struggling to hit righties now. by all accounts, granderson was on the downslope. on the other hand, austin jackson, who the yankees gave up, was hitting .380 in spring training with like 5 triples.

not to say i wont miss granderson. he truly loved playing in detroit, and when interviewed, he said he is excited to play for the yankees, but he didnt want to leave detroit.

i dont think crawford will go anywhere. but we could see.

Good, Minnesota needs to start keeping its stars instead of being a glorified Triple A team for the big market clubs
