Love this chick and love angry songs and that she swears in this song, however minor it is. I enjoy reserving swearing for when people are really pissed off because then it makes me feel happy inside or whatever. This lady is my favorite singer, that I've mentioned a bit, who went away for seven years without so much as an interview and decided to make a comeback in August last year. Anyway, she's broken away from the Christian music scene (they're who that song is directed at lol the rumor mill in her absence was absolutely vicious; I HATE the Christian subculture and everything about contemporary Christianity holy crap it is so hurtful) which makes me excited. Reviews of her concerts are all, "OMG SHE SWEARS IN A COUPLE SONGS!" Yeah, because she's been deeply hurt by people like you to the point where the fact that she has any fans left makes her cry at most shows apparently. Spare me.

/nobody cares, but I'm listening to that song right now and this is the random thread :P

I had a dream that I was somehow drafted to play junior league hockey in the OHL. The organization decided that in order to promote unity within the team, they would have everyone on the team live in a house with another player. The player I was assigned to live with used to be a clown before he made it onto the roster and still wore his clown makeup unless he was on the ice. The guy was a psychopath.

He was constantly interfering in whatever I tried to do and I believe even threatened to assault/kill me on several occasions if I attempted to stop his meddling in my affairs. At one point, I was on this mini-bike type thing riding around in the acres of land behind the house, it started running slowly so I stopped to make sure everything was alright mechanically. Everything was so, I set it up back up, got on and fired it up. Right before I could gun it, the clown suddenly jumped on the back and started clawing at my neck.

In a desperate attempt to get him the fuck off me, I did a wheelie on the bike to the point where the front tire in the air was perpendicular to the ground below me. Apparently there was some red hot piece of metal on the back of the bike for whatever reason, and it began searing the flesh of the clown, effectively branding him with a giant "H."

After hearing him writhing in pain and smelling his flesh burning, I put the front wheel back down and turned off the bike out of mercy, even though he was likely to actually try and kill me at this point.

Suddenly, the view was no longer from my perspective and I saw a shot of the clown, blindfolded, screaming at who I presumed to be me. He was yelling things along the line of "What the fuck were you doing?! What the fuck is wrong with you?! I have half a mind to fucking murder you right here, right now!" While he was yelling, he reached into his clown... getup and pulled out a gun.

One he did that, I heard the sound of almost hundreds of guns cocking and being prepared to fire. The blindfold instantaneously fell off the clown's face as my view panned out, showing that the garage of the home was a chop shop and drug barn, filled with gang members, several of whom only served as guards dressed, funnily enough, as clowns.

I walked into the garage, everyone in there nodded at me, asked me "What's up, kid?" and other mannerisms that made it seem as though they approved of me. I looked on the ground and I saw the clown, dressed in normal clothing, make-up removed as he lie there with a single hole in his chest in a pool full of blood.

This is where I woke up. Fuckin' hate clowns.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I just started to laugh at that at the end. What a dream for sure.

Thursday when I went to Stick N' Puck I ran into Him^^, well not really him, but the guy who wears the suit.

I overheard a guy ask him if his car was the Sabres car so I wandered over, and it happened to be the guy who is the mascot for the Hurricanes, and the funniest part was his girlfriend is a Sabres fan. And he told a story about how the Hurricanes were having some sort of party thing, and they had to drive her car, which he then said it has a bunch of Sabres stuff on it and they parked behind Cam Ward and Ward looked at the car was *facepalm* apparently.

My new roommate is pissing me off to no end. Today he decided to have a conversation in Korean, in the commons room where I was sitting watching a movie for class. So, I stopped the movie, and took a shower. Thinking he might get the hint. Nope, come back after showering, and start the movie back up, mind you I'm in the shower for a good 30-40 mins. He then comes out of his room, and decides he's going to wash the pots and pans that have been sitting in the sink for 3 days...WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS STUPID ASSHOLE. I may deport him to his home land in a bodybag.

I really wish my apartment had a balcony, I'd pull my TV outside and sit out there and watch the game.

I skated for a while. It's nice to live on a hill so I can get some decent work in.

Five-year-old boys are the same everywhere.

Also I'm getting on a train to South Bend to go back to school in... five and a half hours, and I don't really want to. Six weeks till Russia; school's going to get harder to care about lol. Friends got back today from Paris, Scotland, and Romania, though, so at least I'll have lots of stories to listen to.

The only thing my eight-year-old brother does on the internet is listen to the We Are the World remake while playing various games. Without headphones. MAKE IT STOP... though I do crack up without fail every time it gets to the autotune part with the one guy like, "A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A." Did they not realize how hilarious that sounds?

I am kind of laughing at the opposite reactions of people on my Facebook to the passing of the new health care plan. It's like night and day depending on who it is.

This area is going to go down the toilet economically now. It's the orthopedic capital of the world, and now it is much more likely than not that the entire industry is going to have to move overseas, and I know that it's not the only one. This is why it is better when the majority of Congress is not the same party as the president. Looking back at stupid things that were passed, most of them were when the president and Congress were tiiiiight... Gee, I wonder why. American politics is so stupid.
Edit: Area's going to die because the orthopedic industry is basically all it has... It's northern Indiana. Pretty craptastic to begin with.

It can get pretty disgusting with some people. Here's one from my Facebook that I completely disagree with:

Quote:
I would also like to say that I am proud not a single republican senator voted for the bill

This is what's wrong with our political system today. As a moderate, I would be proud that 33 Democrats voted against the bill, but not proud that no Republicans voted for the bill. But that's not any props to the Democrats either. It just shows how congresspeople vote only along party lines and don't actually formulate their own opinions on the matter nor listen to the opinions of their constituents.

But I suppose that's talk better for the Politics forum.

I disagree with most things that have been said on my feed, so I'm not even going to bother. The tamest one was:
Quote:
Social justice mindset: my life will be better when others' lives are better <3

which was a nice, subtle way of showing support for what went down, though I'd like to know all the assumptions and presuppositions she has that go into that statement; I am sure that they are not that kind to people who do not fit one specific definition of "others." At least with the more outraged/jubilant ones, it's obvious hahaha. On one side, you have people threatening to move to Europe... which has universal healthcare in most, if not all, of its nations (though, to be fair, it does operate much more smoothly than ours would, due to the much smaller size of the nations in question and to their mostly socialist economies)... Um. On the other, you have people who have never bothered to think of consequences or the fact that this is making the lives of many worse, in the form of causing them to be unemployed, or causing them to go from being full-time to part-time without a choice in the matter, and in causing entire local economies to die, which will have a radiating affect on everyone else in an already poor economy with widespread unemployment. Edit: I feel like I didn't criticize the OMG THE END OF THE WORLD folks enough, so I'm leaving acknowledgment of that here. I don't agree them by any means, either. The healthcare system isn't the greatest, and yeah, the economy and unemployment rate will eventually adjust and right themselves, more likely than not... Everything sucks worldwide right now, though. As of this week a Euro is only $0.77 American. It's somewhat impossible to predict what will happen, because it's on such a wide scale... Anyway.

As far as American politics goes, let's just say that the entire system sucks and leave it at that. I'm never voting in anything more substantial than basic local elections because my vote will not exactly... matter. Maybe someday I will move to a swing state so it will matter in presidential elections, but then my vote will just be "wasted" on a third party candidate, anyway, more likely than not. Oh well.

My news feed keeps getting more and more ridiculous. The liberals got offline, so the last few hours are all one-sided.

Is it possible to care while being apathetic if the two things aren't being applied to the same nuances?
