Ottawa is at 83 points with 8 games to go, and has a max possibility of 99 points.
Montreal sits with 80 points with 8 games to go, and their max is 96.

If atlanta loses tonight and we win tomorrow, we'll clinch a playoff spot and move into second in the conference. Tomorrow's a 4 point game + a few bonus items (if we win). I think tomorrow's more important than last night!!

Well Atlanta has 76 points and has 8 games remaining for a possible total of 92 points.

All our Sabres need to do to make the playoffs is gain 2 more points to clinch a playoff spot.

We would hold the tiebreaker against Atlanta with one more win if we ended up only winning one of our remaining ten games.

Also it's still 10 points or 100 total to clinch our division. Since Ottawa would have 47 wins if they won out to gain 99 points.

Ottawa loses tomorrow, we can clinch in 8 more points or 4 wins, 3 wins and 2 OT/SO 2 wins and 4 OT/SO, 1 win and 6 OT/SO or 8 OT/SO losses.

This is not right. If we take two OT losses, that gives us 40 wins and 92 pts. If Atlanta wins all 8, they'll have 40 wins and 92 pts and win the tiebreaker of more points gained head to head (6-4).

We need one win to eclipse atlanta.
