Well from what Ruff has said so far Connolly is the 1st line center, with Roy on the 2nd line with Vanek and Stafford. I really don't think it means much though to label the top two lines as 1st or 2nd, because they are fairly interchangeable. I do think Connolly is the better center, but not by much and he has to prove it with a full season's worth of 70+ pts. Beside that we know Ruff wants to balance the lines anyway, so it's more about match-ups than who is "1st" or a better line than the other. I just hope (I know it's stupid) that Ruff can try to keep linemates together long enough for them to know where each other will be and what each are thinking. I'd like to see about a month of steady line combos before tweaking for lack of production, as long as everyone is working hard and healthy.

Connolly really needs to improve his face-off skills...That would make him a "lock".
