I wouldn't put it past the Sabres, this team knows how to find ways to lose against them.

Well that sucks.

If it's any consolation, I've been repping the Rivet threads all over Boston today. Got a couple random 'GO SABRES' at the conference center I was at, and from some dude in a Bobby Orr jersey on the way back from dinner. :)

I see Pattymouth got into another one.

if you are tripped up with a break away, which he had, while the net is empty, its an automatic goal.

Auto goal rule. Can't trip someone with an empty net...or throw your stick.

Ref can call a goal on decision alone.

If the Sabres don't win tomorrow, it's going to be a long weekend.

...I didn't mean that in a good way.

This is laughable. How unfair. I hate playing the Sens. It doesn't matter if half their team is gone, it doesn't matter if we give 110%, they will ALWAYS find a way to win.

In the regular season, that is....

Well then I wish Roy had made him earn it with a far move vicious trip.

Sure kicked our asses in '06-07, though.

I'm assuming that Brian McCutcheon handles that part of the special teams. Our PP shows no imagination. I'm so sick of the dropback pass into the zone.

They relieved McCutcheon of that post earlier this seasons. James Patrick is our PP Coordinator now; not that it helps.

This team lacks the 1 thing all great power plays have, that volatile shot from the point.

Kotalik had it, Spacek had it, Campbell had it, they all made our PP much better

They've been pretty physical, outplayed Ottawa for the most part, but the Sabres have been unable to capitalize on their chances and Elliot has gotten twenty gazillion lucky bounces.

How many times are we gonna get mid thirties to low forties in the shot total and only net 2 goals. Sure Elliot's a good netminder, but I question the shooting of our team in general.

They've lacked the ability to finish their chances for a while now. It didn't help that Elliot could blindly throw his glove out and somehow catch the puck, though.
