Mmmm almost 5:30 and I've been out all night. Woooo.

Also, I basically never swear. I mean, I do, but it's on rare occasions. I think it lacks precision and that other words are better, but when there is really strong feeling behind it, it can be perfect. I don't mean, though, just run-of-the-mill frustration or whatever... but yeah.

That's why it's hilarious that almost every day when my alarm goes off, in my stupor I mumble, "Shut the fuck up," at it, in this really angry tone. I told this to my friends while out tonight and they about died laughing.

Female friends want to have a "girls night" of watching movies, doing nails and hair, and having girl talk, whatever that is. I was invited. UMMMMMM. :? Nooooo thank you.

Do you like hills? Do you mind climbing up and down a hill everyday to get to where you need to be?

Please think about those questions when you visit.

I love Geneseo. Nice little college town with fun bars and great parties.

I am starting to think that being completely lonely is preferable to being superficially "known."

It is worse to be understood for what you are not than to not be understood at all.

Unravel.

I think I might have to make a trip down to the Sabres store next week. I saw an awesome looking playoff t-shirt on TV yesterday.

I was working at a soup kitchen earlier today, and apparently there was a drug deal at some point. Made the day a lot more interesting than it was previously.

I just wrote an essay on Brad Paisley, now that is something i never thought i'd do, especially for a one credit class. Yea i went well over 5 pages (not double spaced). had to shrink the font to 11 to get it to three and a half pages.

"You Are My Sunshine" is such a weird song. I've always wondered why it's sung in the context of a lullaby or something, or sung to people you love, on happy occasions. I remember being, like, four and thinking that the line at the end of the first verse, "Please don't take my sunshine away," implied that the person the song's being sung to was either dying or had died and thus interpreted it as an incredibly bittersweet, tragic song, and I was only satisfied when I finally saw what was to me the only appropriate use of it I'd ever seen in a TV movie when I was seven or eight in which a girl sings it to her dying mother. I heard the second verse for the first time a few years later and, yup, fits with that interpretation (if it's interpreted the way that the beginning and end of this is sung), though I now don't think that was the intent of the songwriter. Same thing with "My Darling Clementine." It's about the death of someone's daughter. Why is it always sung to children as a happy song? And "Rock-a-bye Baby." What is that? Almost every nursery rhyme makes no sense. "Ring Around the Rosie," too. As soon as I found out what that was about when I was six or whatever, I just... WHAT? Basically all of them...

Someday, the events of 9/11 and the Holocaust will be made into nursery rhymes. There are other events that could be, but I don't think they're nursery rhyme material.
