The excitement didn't really hit me until I saw this on the front page of ESPN.com.

So I thought I'd share.

I know there are concerns, but WE'RE BACK BABY. :D

This is similar to breaking the tape at a marathon. We all knew we had it a long time ago. I may get excited at a division win, because it seems to sink a dagger sometimes.

/not to be a dick psp, but this maybe should be merged too(I know you're probably just keeping things going in slow times).

I like clean threads. I think they keep things moving here.

I don't mind if it gets merged, but sometimes, following four pages of posts can be tough.

Woohoo!!!

Bet Ottawa will be a bunch if dicks and try to stay in 6th or 7th depending where we finish so we have then in the 1st round.

i hope they finish 5th. then, even if we play them in the second round, theyll be gassed by then.

also, Ottawa doesn't play as well against other teams as they do us. Depending on who Ottawa plays in the first round, they might not even win. Time well tell though. I'm just excited about seeing some playoff hockey again.

If Ottawa doesn't play us in the first round they won't be in the second round. Washington is too good to be slowed down by them, Pittsburgh won't have trouble beating them, and I don't think Jersey would have trouble at all against them.

If they play us, it might be like it was in 05-06 where all the games went to OT or something.

and even if we do play ottawa in the playoffs at some point, i don't even care.
as far as I'm concerned, all the regular season losses against them go out the window and it's a clean slate. The Sabres CAN beat them. the Playoffs would be a very great way to prove that to the fans, and to themselves.

Nice way to clinch the berth. ALL HAIL TYLER TALL AND TYLER SMALL!

A big thank you to Miller, Connolly, Myers and the PK for getting them to this point.

We won't lose to Ottawa in the playoffs if we play them. It just won't happen.

Ottawa won't fall from 5th, so they are going to either play Jersey or Pittsburgh depending on who wins that division.

The top 5 spots are all pretty much a lock in the East. I mean Ottawa has 5 points on Montreal right now and Montreal hasn't looked too good lately.
