From the looks of that poll, they have no intention on shutting up. What I find comical is they actually have a body of work to criticize now, yet they're still believing the rumors that were spread to get McCain elected. Just go after the policies now ffs.

Lou Dobbs was the best though. He spent day after day ranting and raving about how the whole birth certificate thing hadn't been addressed. One day he was out, and Kitty Pilgrim was guest hosting his TV show.

She presented facts and research CNN had done on the subject. (ZOMG JOURNALISM) One of the points of evidence that Pilgrim presented was the birth certificate, including a letter verifying it's authenticity from the Hawaii Department of Health.

The birthers (Alan Keyes and O RLY Taitz) then yelled and screamed how it wasn't enough, yadda yadda.

The next DAY, Dobbs AGAIN ranted about how the birth certificate was never presented, etc, etc, COMPLETELY IGNORING the evidence presented ON HIS OWN SHOW.

How any logical person could possibly buy into that stuff is just beyond me.

At least it gave us a day off from the illegals topic. No worries, a few more cigarettes, and we'll be rid of Lou and Denis Leary anyways.

Although, to be fair I really didnt phrase my initial point as i'd wished, let me try again:

The inflammatory crap and rhetoric coming from either side is NOT equal. When bush was in office, and lots of people disliked him, they pointed to more concrete things than "He is the anti-christ", or "He's probably not even a citizen". Those are WEAK ASS "arguments" at best, and fucking lunacy at worst. True i'm biased, but the criticism coming from the left was far more based in reality. I mean, a quarter of republicans literally believe that Obama is like...some mythical creature sent to destroy jesus or something? Really? Crosscheck actually posts valid criticism of the president, I dont always agree, but I respect his ability to point out concrete examples of what he doesnt like. A large portion of the mania from the right is no where near as cogent as that.
