I predict the following:

The sabres will both beat, and lose to the Florida Panthers by every conceivable score. It will be a close match that was a blowout from the beginning when the sabres prevail in overtime after losing in the shootout by a score of pi to e.

The sabres will win the stanley cup, though it will be doubtful from the getgo when they miss the playoffs while winning the division, but finishing several points below the surging ottawa senators who limped to a last place finish in the northeast.

The sabres will play a western conference team in the first round, winning the series 4 games to 0 even though Miller and Lalime record no wins and Miller's gaa is 47 after allowing no goals in game seven, which ended in overtime.

The sabres will then be imediately eliminated from the playoffs, surging easily though the first three rounds to their first cup finals appearance ever since 1999. They will then face the last place edmonton oilers masquerading as the san jose sharks, playing their home games in chicago.

Uh, what else. The arena will be destroyed by an asteroid on the eve of the deciding game seven thus wiping the team, fans and entire NHL off the face of the earth.
