7-2-1 in their last 10.

Only Detroit is better.

Stupid Ottawa. If we had beat them we'd be on an 8 game winning streak.

If we've won a single game against Ottawa, we would have the division locked up.

What a game! We're firing on all cylinders right now.

One of the best parts was seeing Lalime so fired up at the end.

Everyone was hating on Gerbe a while back.

Look at this kid.

Ennis and Gerbe are going to OWN for us.

And I said earlier this thread they'd shine tonight. I was right. :D

Gerbe is doing well because he's focused and determined, instead of a loose cannon with an attitude like he was last season.

3 of our four rookies scored a goal tonight.

4 of our four rookies got at least a point.

Definitely agree. It's part of maturing as a player.

Luckily for us, he has.

If Gerbe sets his mind to playing great, he can be our own Theo Fluery, a man who played in 1,044 games and scored 1,088 points and was also 5'6".

But Gerbe doesn't need any drugs or alcohol though.

I'm now 7-1 on the season...a thank you...

Seriously, great game.

From being at the game, after it got to be 5-2 I started watching individual players on each shift.

Here are my observations:

Gerbe really works hard, and has some 2 way ability. Reminds me of a young, hungry Brian Gionta

Ennis, he's got a nose for the puck. I watched him 3 shifts in a row, this kid is something special. He was always in good position both offensively and defensively. He could use some work transitionally, but he's the next Zetterberg

Torres definitely brought his game tonight. He worked hard on the 4th line, and made some good things happen

Stafford, somebody get this kid a Garmin, he's lost. He was wandering around in the offensive zone, couldnt keep up with Roy and Kennedy at all. He needs to be on a 3rd line; where the offensive talent is more his tempo.

Kennedy, what a difference a month makes. This kid is starting to win me over.

Montador, great offensively, needs to work on transition game.

I can't really think of any other players that really stood out to me.

Was a great game; good to see the guys getting way better as the playoffs near. 4 more points, and we can coast a bit.
