Who would you guess the Sabres will face?

Boston, Montreal and Philly do not have a lock it seems in 6th,7th & 8th.. The Rangers aren't dead yet. They just greased Tampa for 4 goals in the first period and Philly just lost to the Habs.

I would be fine with facing Boston, Philly, Montreal, or the Rangers. Just not Atlanta.

I think we can take all 3 of those teams, but I'd feel better about going at it with Philly.

It's impossible to say with Buffalo's seeding still up in the air. I especially enjoy beating division teams in the playoffs, so I'm hoping for Boston or Montreal. I suspect we won't find out until April 11th.

I hate that they use "For Whom The Bell Tolls" as their end-of-intermission song, and that they use a traditional football chant as-covered-by a NYC punk rock band as their goal song and rallying cry.

I also hate when the drunk Frogs throw beer on me when they're in my home arena in my city, being fucksticks the entire time.

I say we are facing Montreal, and will beat them.

I don't want to face Boston, seeing as we can't figure out Tuuka Rask. I'd rather take my chances with Philly's goalie situation, or Carey Price/Jaraslov Halak.

Yeah. Boston will probally lose in the first round too any other team. We would lose though. I want Montreal or Philly not only for the goalies, but those are always intense rivalry games.

I don't think we'd have a huge problem against Boston either. Just because Tuukka can't shut us out every game, and with their team not scoring it would be boring low scoring games at least.

The first round shouldn't scare anyone except for the 4th and 5th place teams at least, and I still don't think Ottawa can beat either Pittsburgh or Jersey in 7 games.

If we play MTL I hope they start Halak. Carey stole the first game of the year and he definitey wasn't the reason MTL lost last game. He scares me more than Halak.

I don't really want to play Montreal because the officiating is mostly so biased in Montreal games that I'll get a heart attack in such a series...

THe bruin have a goalie problem as they refuse to declare rask as the number one though he certainly has outplayed thomas.

Flyers have no goalie, but we have a habit of turning a back up into hasek, and the flyers are groomed to hit. though i'd pick them.

The habs like has been said get the officiating, and halak and price are goalies. if they step it up.

We've played pretty decent against Montreal, but I got to say I want Philly! Goaltending issues along with the fact I just hate them and there fans.

Surprised at all the "wanna play Montreal" comments.

A healthy Montreal with Halak in net is no walk in the park.

The last two games Montreal fairly well shut their offense down. It was the typical 'clog the neutral zone' style that slows Buffalo down almost every time. They need to be patient and stay patient for 60 mins to win that style of hockey game. All too often the less disciplined players give up and start to be individuals, turn the puck over and lose the game.

I'd agree. Halak isn't a pushover, not at all.
