These guys are awesome. I want them to stay up here if not I want Ennis. But how are we to squeeze them into the line up? We have Vanek and Connolly returning, and I think we are going to sit Stafford. Are we going to keep the rooks here until Vanek and Connolly return or something?

Are we allowed to just keep them in buffalo during the playoffs, to step in for eventual injuries and such? What are the rules about AHL guys after the regular season?

My guess is that Ennis stays no matter what. Vanek or Connolly returning puts Stafford in the press box. The other one returning sends Gerbe back to Portland.

Hopefully Ennis stays up. I could definitely do without Stafford.

That would be great. Ennis is ready for the NHL for sure. Last five games he's had 4 points I think.

Ennis has been very impressive. He's really creative with the puck. Gerbe, on the other hand, continues to make me yawn...I don't think he'll ever be an NHL regular.

No he can stay. I think Drew Miller stayed up with the Ducks when he won a cup.

I know Gerbe has heart and everybody is rooting for him, but I see him far too many times getting knocked around and taken off the puck. Becasue of his size, I don't see that getting much better in time.

When he went toe to toe with (I think it was) Hanmrlik the other night, I almost laughed out loud. He looked like a little kid facing him.

the only way to motivate him will be to allow him to play guitar on the ice. that kid is too obsessed with his music. not exactly clarke macArthur, "I'm here for my check." but similar.

Maybe instead of playing guitar he should practice shooting. Everytime Stafford takes a shot, an angel loses his wings.

in order for ennis to stay up we would have to use one of our official call ups for him. im not sure how many a team is allowed but i know we have at least a couple left. right now ennis is up on an emergency basis and once the player he was called up for returns, we will have to send him back to the AHL unless we use one of the call ups on him.

The Sabres have one more general-use call-up left. I have half a mind to think that Lindy will strangle Darcy if he doesn't use it to keep Ennis up before the playoffs behin.

Gerbe is on the emergency call-up still and Ennis' last I knew was switched to a regular call up.

But Ennis is our only player who has over a PPG, 8 points in 7 games for a 1.14 PPG average.
