I was hoping for alot more of those, as I can't get to many games, I have to work, even during the games to get some things done.

Those were my smile moments and actually made my day alot of times.

I guess that's not surprising. Here's more of the stuff that was said over there early on. I was a little hesitant to post this, because daz makes a good point about 'fuel on the fire', but after everything that has transpired, I think that this does need to come out. The yellow text was added by me. The 'Drunkie' comment is in reference to their board name : Sabres Drunkie.



I feel very backstabbed by ETC out of all of this. Some time back, he was being quite disruptive, and I sent a message to all the other mods. This is back when it was me, XC, Ice, and SG were all mods. We all discussed it, and were all on board that ETC needed a couple day timeout. Not long after that ended, he PMed me to apologize, and I did so in turn, since I didn't always treat him with respect in discussions. After all that, to be refered to as a 'puffed up douchebag'.... well, I was a little surprised to see it.

Next, we have some of Icehound's early comments.



Icehound also made a comment, as I mentioned earlier, that XC was simply trying to drive up membership to profit off the Google ads at the bottom. Of course, he had no objection to ETC putting two ads on his site that weren't there to start with.

He also fails to mention that even though it was such an egregious offense that I questioned Schony, it was not such a bad thing when Schony overruled me when I permabanned Markus. I accepted that criticism and tried to be better; she got pissed and left.

I have no lingering animosity towards anyone who's joined over there. We have a couple members still around that are in both places, that's no big deal.

I do however take umbrage with the vitrol and rage that has been directed towards the other members of these boards. They can hate on me all they want; they're entitled to their opinions. None of them factor in at all into my life, none of them have met me personally to be qualified to form that opinion.

I just don't like it that the general membership of this board has been disparaged so much. Sure, we don't always agree on everything, but I do believe that everyone here is a good person, and doesn't deserve that treatment. That's why this is all coming out now.

Honestly, I think that all the folks over there are good people too. I'm sure they're mother fucking me harder now after reading this, maybe they'll all have 'Live by the fucking Squanto, die by the fucking Squanto' as a signature by now. (Yes, that happened.)

Maybe it's not the right thing to do to air all this dirty laundry, but there it is. It's been hard to sit by for the last month and see myself get motherfucked left and right over a simpler difference of opinion, but it's done with now. If they want to keep on focusing their rage towards me, ETC has things hidden now so I won't know about it anymore.

Regardless, I've been man enough to admit my mistake in this whole mess and apologize. If that makes me a mother fucking douchebag, I'm proud to wear that title.

The main reason that SchonyGal left was because she felt that Squanto and myself were being unsupportive because we felt her ban on hnfjw was wrong and we let her know. We talked to her about it, tried to be nice (some hostility ensued to much everyones regret) and she left ultimately because she felt Squanto and I were not supportive (we didn't back her up no matter what her decision was). Squanto and myself were trying to be fair to hnfjw, now with crosscheck involved, by unbanning him, and Squanto and I were immediately deemed horrible individuals by Schony, and she went and rebanned hnfjw and re-closed the thread about the olympics that I had opened to be fair to everyone again. I respected her greatly, she helped me a lot on these boards, she has always been (a majority of the time) a very decent individual, but to be called out as inconsiderate, and disrespectful because of trying my damnedest to be fair and unbiased is wrong IMO. I'm sad to see almost all of the individuals who are over there, because I have a lot of respect for them, and I hope (at least) that they don't start requesting account deletion (like some have) because of some misconstrued facts. One story is being told over there, and one over here, but to get people I've respected to request account deletion, the stuff over there being said has got to be full of shit and so then (as i've seen) is truly a bunch of bullshit (excuse me please).

I'm not a mod for myself, I'm sure squanto and crosscheck are the same, we do it because we respect everyone in these boards, we consider all of you friends, and we want to see everyone having a good fun time to celebrate the topics discussed here and we're willing to devote time out of our days to everyone here in the name of good company and fun times.

I'm sorry to those who feel otherwise and left, I'm trying my best and for damn sure I'm not perfect, and most importantly I realize this.

I'm putting this all behind me now, as that's where it needs to go. I'm glad I have the people on here to share it with. Thanks

I don't appreciate being told I can rot in hell, either directly or indirectly. I doubt that anyone does. I find it quite ironic that a board was created to escape so-called juvenile posters when its members are acting with the most immaturity. Especially since much of the so-called slights these people have concocted are either imaginary or just plain false.

Certain members want to talk about the inappropriate actions of moderators. Does anyone else remember when a certain moderator told one of our most respected members to stop being such a fangirl and that miller sukks [sic]? I sure do. How is that any better? How is it any better to refer to anyone as having a "fucking drunken mouth" and being "an arrogant moron?"

The premise of this splinter group has an air of supposed maturity, which is ironic. They comment on "the flood of teenage angst" that "reduced the intelligence, culture, and maturity of the board." I fail to understand how such a disgusting generalization passes muster with any of these people who think that when the age of thirty rolls around you suddenly gain all this maturity and insight into life. I further fail to understand how it is acceptable under any circumstances to lump everyone into one group and say they can "rot in hell." The altercation was between two people, and should have stayed that way. It should not have grown to encompass an entire community of people.

You have two schools of thought, the young and the old. The young members have almost to a tee clammored for the return of every single member of the old. The old members have created their own restrictive community and debased themselves to posting generalizations and insults about the younger members. It would seem to be a case of a demographic that is very used to being correct and authoritative on things being thrust into a world in which they are now the newcomers.

Which group is more mature? Which group deserves an air of superiority? (The real answer is neither, but that's not how it looks).

Interesting that this is being said. Is making your own board and talking shit about others really a sign of maturity, decency and integrity? Honestly, the age thing, I don't get it. A lot of the times during arguments on the boards, it seemed like the younger people were acting a hell of a lot more mature than the older group...

I hold no animosity toward any member and was never involved in any conflict with anyone (except Gil, but that was a long time ago), but it's a bit disgusting that some people feel the need to act in such manners.

People won't always agree and that's life. Matter of fact, it's a good thing. But some people appear unable to handle that.
