Last year was obviously not the brightest for our team and certain million dollar men... But this year I have drunk some really good cool-aid and feel that we have a chance to see some rebounds from not only Tallinder but Hecht as well. Although Tallinder is the only one who has a shot to live up to that contract, I think that both might play a hell of a lot better then last year when our only leaders were Gausdad and Rivet.

So dream on Sabres fans, because I will not yell obscenities at Hecht, Tallinder or any other player until I see them SUCK BALLS in the regular season. And no, preseason does not count.

it's easy to be optimistic for a new season....i think most fans are...personally i am not getting excited in terms of hoping we will be good....not with this squad.....
i will be optimistic though that maybe hecht & tallinder are traded soon (HAHAHAHAHAHA)....or that they may suffer career ending injuries.....

but then you would have to hop on darcy's bandwagon and HOPE some of the youngins like myers, gerbe, kennedy make the squad AND do well....

seems like to many if, and's, or but's for this team to do well this year imo...not unless darcy starts doing something....
